A thick, jammy feeling balm with lots of delicious scents however I really feel like this does nothing to help the hydration of my lips. I’ve tried leaving it on over night and reapplying during the day but, alas, to no avail. Such a shame but I won’t be repurchasing.

a little goes a long way
I have been using Laneige Lip Sleeping Masks for over 2 years as a part of my night time skincare. I keep trying new fragrance options, this time it was a chocolate one. I am a bit disappointed that you cannot really smell any chocolate in it. Furthermore, it does have a slightly light brownish tint even after you apply it on the lips in a thin layer so if you like to use laneige lip mask as your daily lip balm, go for other options. I will definitely go back to the original or vanilla one once I am done with this one, which will be in a year maybe.. it does last you very long time even if you use every single night like me. My advice: get the mini sizes which come in a holiday set now.

I wanted to love this. I got the original and the grapefruit… their both really effective as a balm or sleep mask. I guess I just wanted that really beautiful fresh scent - and they don’t have it. Barely there fragrance and I just feel abit sad when I use it. Could have been so much more luxurious with gorgeous smells…
