Inspired by her DNA scientist father and her childhood spent on a sheep farm, Lanolips’ founder Kirsten Carriol developed Ultra Medical Grade lanolin, an odourless, colourless and non-sticky ointment that mimics skin oils to restore moisture. {The Original 101 Ointment}, Lanolips 101 Ointment Fruities are jam-packed with all the same goodness as the original plus the benefits of four fruit miracle-workers. There’s antioxidant-rich ‘Green Apple’, alpha hydroxy acid-enriched ‘Strawberry’, vitamin-loaded ‘Peach’ and ultra-hydrating ‘Coconutter’. We, along with a devoted global cult following, have awarded it 'Holy Grail' status.
A delicious reinvention of {The Original 101 Ointment}, Lanolips 101 Ointment Fruities are available in four ‘flavours’, each boasting its own good-to-skin benefits. There’s ‘Green Apple’, a vitamin and antioxidant-rich formula that naturally deflects harmful environmental elements and pollutants, ‘Strawberry’, which helps to slough away dead skin cells and reveal healthy, new skin thanks to the key addition of alpha-hydroxy acids; ‘Peach’, which helps to revive skin with its combination of vitamins and polyunsaturated fatty acids, ‘Coconutter’, which is boosted with vitamin E and is rich in antioxidants to make it ultra-hydrating and, finally, 'Watermelon', which is boosted with vitamin E and watermelon fruit extract to intensely hydrate. Each one is formulated with Ultra Medical Grade lanolin, which resembles and mimics your own skin oils to restore moisture unlike anything else and holds 200% of its weight in moisture. Vegetarian, baby-friendly and free from any nasties, this is basically a no brainer!

Protective, but not hydrating
Tried Green apple and Coconutter. The smells are great. However if you have really dry lips - these balms aren't the best choices for you. As they don't hydrate, heal or restore - but just make a thick lanolin film on top. Good for outdoors protection during cold seasons but nothing extra. Also so sticky it's unusable on cuticle, elbows or heels.

I actually like the scent
I received coconutter with the goody bag, as many others did. I actually prefer the original Lanolips but this is still worth 5 stars! It's maybe not as thick as the original and has a scent. So here's the thing, this hardly smells like coconut... it really reminds me of margarine with a hint of butter and coconut. At first I was a bit put off but now I'm addicted to the scent. It's weird but if you like scents that remind you of prepping food, go for it! Otherwise, I'd pick a different scent.

Coconutter
So nice! Goes well on the top of the lipstick as well! I love it! Smells so nice!

Handbag essential
I got the Coconutter in the May 2019 Goody Bag, and I love this so much that I always have it in my handbag. After I use a liquid lipstick, my lips dry out and normally it can take days before they are back to their usual self, but now is just but on a generous layer of Coconutter before bedtime and they are reborn the next morning. I Will order more of Lanolips’ products in the future.

Coconutter
It's a nice lip balm but it smells so bad. I will not purchase this flavour again although its a good moisturiser for lips.

Fabulous
Very hydrating and nourishing and long-lasting. I love the packaging, that it's in a tube and not in the pot, and can be applied straight from the tube - it's more hygienic that way. Certainly one of the best lip balms I've used. I will keep repurchasing this.

Coconutter
I got the Coconutter lip balm in the summer 2019 goody bag. I was thinking about buying it, so that was lucky. Especially since I literally HATE it. It smells and tastes like straight up butter to me. It makes me sick. I’ve tried it out anyway, to see if it’s any good, but it’s not. It’s feels nice when on the lips, but my lips are still dry when it’s gone. If you ever tried nipplecream on your lips for moisturizing, this is the exact same thing, with added taste/smell. I will definitely not be buying this again.

I expected more
I've got this lip treatment with the May 2019 Goody Bag (which arrived after less than 24h from my order btw - amazing job CB Staff .10 stars for you all!) and it was an item I was tempted to buy, but fortunately I had the chance to try it first. Even if it's not that bad I don't really like it, maybe because I don't love coconut and also it's not as comfortable as other lip balms. I gave 4 stars anyway 'cause it's moisturising enough. I usually apply it before going to sleep and in the morning my lips are well hydrated and smooth. I wouldn't buy it.

The BEST lip balm in the world!!
I’ve bought Lanolips countless amounts of times and it has never let me down! I couldn’t recommend it enough as, at this point, I don’t think I could go without it! If you're not using Lanolips, you’re not doing your lips any favours.

Peach
Best lip balm I used so far. Really thick and stays on lips for a very long time. Transformed my very dry lips which are super soft after just one application. Nice taste too.
