Inspired by her DNA scientist father and her childhood spent on a sheep farm, Lanolips’ founder Kirsten Carriol developed Ultra Medical Grade lanolin, an odourless, colourless and non-sticky ointment that mimics skin oils to restore moisture. {The Original 101 Ointment}, Lanolips 101 Ointment Fruities are jam-packed with all the same goodness as the original plus the benefits of four fruit miracle-workers. There’s antioxidant-rich ‘Green Apple’, alpha hydroxy acid-enriched ‘Strawberry’, vitamin-loaded ‘Peach’ and ultra-hydrating ‘Coconutter’. We, along with a devoted global cult following, have awarded it 'Holy Grail' status.
A delicious reinvention of {The Original 101 Ointment}, Lanolips 101 Ointment Fruities are available in four ‘flavours’, each boasting its own good-to-skin benefits. There’s ‘Green Apple’, a vitamin and antioxidant-rich formula that naturally deflects harmful environmental elements and pollutants, ‘Strawberry’, which helps to slough away dead skin cells and reveal healthy, new skin thanks to the key addition of alpha-hydroxy acids; ‘Peach’, which helps to revive skin with its combination of vitamins and polyunsaturated fatty acids, ‘Coconutter’, which is boosted with vitamin E and is rich in antioxidants to make it ultra-hydrating and, finally, 'Watermelon', which is boosted with vitamin E and watermelon fruit extract to intensely hydrate. Each one is formulated with Ultra Medical Grade lanolin, which resembles and mimics your own skin oils to restore moisture unlike anything else and holds 200% of its weight in moisture. Vegetarian, baby-friendly and free from any nasties, this is basically a no brainer!

This is my go to lip balm. I always tend to revert back to this, it’s not too sticky and gives you plenty of moisture throughout the day.

Lovely!
Absolutely love this strawberry balm! Smells so good and the consistency is thick (which I like, may not be everyone's preference). I tried the lip stick version of this in lemon but no where near as good as the ointment. The price is reasonable! I now want to buy all the fragrances.

Awesome!
My lips are always dry. No matter how much water I drink I just need to moisturize them. But this product works! It is really an ointment, not just a balm. It moisturizes deeply, it’s not too sticky and smells amazing like strawberries. Will definitely repurchase!

Watermelon doesn’t smell of anything
I love these lip balms. The apple one is lovely (the pear one is my favourite but only ever seen it in Waitrose). I thought I’d try the watermelon as it’s new...so disappointing! I don’t know if mine is a dud but there is no fragrance whatsoever. It’s just like the original Lanolips ointment you get in the larger tube. 3 stars as it’s just as effective as the other fruity balms but so disappointed that there’s no fragrance!

Amazing
Oh my god. These actually smell divine. I got the peach one and can't wait to try the watermelon because they smell and taste exactly like the fruit. It's also a really nice hydrating multi-tasking balm. Forever my favourite and I will never use another brand.

My no.1 lip balm
I love this lip balm so much, to me it’s the perfect lip balm, lip gloss and lip treatment all in one. I like to use it over my favourite lip liner as my fave lip combo. I use it at night as a treatment and my lips are soft for ages and it protects my lips from the cold winter weather. You only need a small amount so it lasts for ages. I don’t go anywhere with out it! Also the apple flavour is so good!

Favourite lip balm
I have the apple one and it literally saved my lips this winter. The texture is very thick and a little goes a long way. I've been using the same tube since mid December (it's now March) and I'm still only halfway through. I love that I don't have to constantly reapply like with other lip balms, I just use it in the morning and before bed and my lips are in great condition. Will definitely repurchase!

Best lipbalm
I mostly use this for when I sleep, when my lips can really soak up the product and be repaired. This is one of the best ones I have used, it does a good job of moisturizing the lips. I love the apple one, I also tried the coconut which I didn't like the smell/taste of but still does the same amazing job. It's slightly sticky, but at the end of the day, I feel like it does the best job out of the very many I have tried. The apple one smells incredible!

Not nice
Honestly the worst lip balm I’ve tried and I’ve used a whole lot.

Sticky
Really hydrating on the lips and stays for a long time but honestly a bit too sticky, don't wear on a windy day unless you want to be eating your hair
