Inspired by her DNA scientist father and her childhood spent on a sheep farm, Lanolips’ founder Kirsten Carriol developed Ultra Medical Grade lanolin, an odourless, colourless and non-sticky ointment that mimics skin oils to restore moisture. Inspired by the original {101 Ointment}, this Lip + Cheek Tint is jam-packed with all the same goodness as the original with an injection of rosy pink colour for a fresh-faced flush.
A juicy reinvention of the original {101 Ointment}, this must-have is for anyone with dry skin, chapped lips or who's craving a naturally flushed look.
The 101 Ointment Lip + Cheek Tint is enriched with pure lanolin, which has a unique molecular structure that closely resembles and mimics your own skin oils to deliver unparalleled levels of moisture. However, this formula also comes laced with a natural, pinched-your-cheeks tint for a flattering, dewy-skinned flush that looks just like your face made it. Intensely hydrating, nourishing and 100% natural, this rescue ointment is a handbag hero, providing immediate relief while lending lips and cheeks a sweet, just-bitten hint of pink. Dermatologically tested, vegetarian and baby friendly, cruelty-free and free from ‘nasties’, this treatment is an absolute no-brainer. Choose from 'Rose Gold', 'Baby Rose Gold' or 'Bronze Gold'.

Lovely lip balm, DO NOT put it on your face
It's lovely as a lip balm, but a bit tricky to get out of the tube. As a cheek tint, you need to put quite a bit on to get the colour, but then end up smeared in thick goop. My face is a swamp and my hair gets stuck in it. It's like having a thick layer of Vaseline on my face.

Utter rubbish
Balm was solid in the tube then when I scraped some out it was just like thick sticky Vaseline with no tint to it but a little bit of shimmer. Worst purchase I have had recommended by this site.

Love it
Love this tinted version of the 101 ointment! I like that the substance is a little bit thicker since it works better on my lips like that. I also do use it on my cheeks sometimes, but it is a little bit sticky. The only negative thing for me is the price, I feel that it is expensive for such a small tube.

Not a tint, not a lip balm - pricey
Unfortunately, this is a really bad purchase and I regret it. I read a lot of reviews saying the texture is quite claggy/drying but I didn't find that at all. If anything, I thought that would add to the intensity of the tint - but I was wrong. Can't say that it's fantastic as a lip balm either as it just seems basic and massively overpriced. Vaseline Rosy Lips does a better job. Don't waste your money...

Nice but too expensive
It looks great but I just feel like there are better ones out there with a cheaper price. But the colour does look good on every skin tone.

Beautiful
Looks gorgeous on the lips & cheeks (a bit sticky on the cheeks, but that's expected as it is a balm after all). I love how hydrating and nourishing this is. And the smell is lovely too!

It's good, but
The product has a lovely colour (with more application) and it stays on the lips very well. My problem is that it's hard to get the product out. It could have a better way for application, and it's pricey. I also suggest not to put this on the cheeks as it's sticky; you might not like this if you don't feel comfortable with a thick and sticky texture.

Overpriced and mediocre
This is basically the tinted lip ointments but with a harder, grittier texture. Did it look nice on the lips? Sure. Did it look nice enough to warrant a £13 price tag? Absolutely not. The formula is incredibly hard and therefore difficult to spread unless warmed up. It also tends to just sit on the lips without any moisturising properties, possibly as a result of the glitter. This is incredibly over-priced for what it is.

Amazing natural color, greasy texture, non-lasting
It looks very natural like after beach glow. Texture is more nourishing-like, very greasy and non-lasting at all. It makes lips smoother and gives a touch of color, but stays everywhere: on cups, on shirts, on hairs (and then on glasses).
