utilitarian (lip) balm
a classic but not my favourite. the packaging can be a little awkward (the tiny little twist lid can be obscenely fiddly). the consistency of the balm itself can range from bursting-out-of-the-tube liquid (if accidentally warmed in a trouser pocket) to impossible-to-dispense solid (depths of winter). in the perfect, temperate, climate, for treating patches of truly dry skin, cuticles or chapped lips, it's hard to beat.

i have severely dry lips that crack and bleed - this helps keep them hydrated and lasts a long time. tastes horrible if you get any in your mouth by accident but no other issues

Long lasting moisture
