Lasts but is heavy and sticky
Great pigment and longevity but I can feel it sitting on my eyelid and it sticks a bit when I blink. Best used very lightly— although that won’t give you the deep pigment, just a shimmery tint. And why bother spending money on this when you can achieve a light shimmery tint from any number of cheaper options… I’m continuing my search for the perfect cream eyeshadow stick…

So easy, great colours
I’ve loved the caviar sticks for a long time so I was so pleased when they brought out the new matte range. I have a few of the colours now but cobblestone and caramel are my favourites by far. I do have to use eye primer because of my oily lids (nars pro prime) but once applied these stay all day. The colours are really chic but give an impact and they are so easy to apply. They do set quite quick so I blend straight away and then add a second layer where I want more payoff. I hope they’ll bring out more colours soon! They’re all I’ve worn for the last month.

I hadn’t tried Laura mercier caviar sticks before and decided that now it’s time. It didn’t disappoint. It’s a lovely mid brown natural colour (sepia) and looks beautiful with green eyes. It took a little time to set. But ones it did it didn’t budge.
