Lasting, natural scent
I'm not a perfumier so unfortunately I can't give you a wordy review on the top and heart notes - but I can tell you that this is a delicious, lasting scent. I'd been looking for a fragrance for my husband who has a preference for woody, grassy scents. I wouldn't say this is quite that - it's difficult to describe. But it's definitely more of a natural scent than being overly musky. I wouldn't say it's overtly masculine but it's definitely not feminine either - it could work as a gender neutral fragrance if you don't favour anything too florally (which is me!). We tried this on in Selfridges prior to purchasing here and the scent lasted really well - in comparison to my tester (Chlo « Rose Naturale) it was still strongly noticeable well into the evening and perhaps even the next day. We absolutely love it and envisage this becoming a signature scent now.I bought it on the sly for his birthday tomorrow after trying it out on the Saturday. One thing worth bearing in mind if buying as a gift is Cult Beauty's next day delivery service is actually a 2-3 working day service (or so their customer care team advise me), so build that into your planning.

This brand is very expensive but a) one of the only truly cruelty-free fragrance brands out there and b) has unique, iconic and very high quality, long-lasting scents. This travel size was bought with birthday money and is in a cute portable bottle with a weighty, magnetic lid. The Santal scent will have people stopping you to ask what it is. Its musky and heady but lightened with a slight hint of floral in the background. A totally intriguing and gorgeous scent!

Buying perfume following the opinions of other people is always a kind of gambling ..Honestly, at the beginning I wasn't sure if I like it or not . My nose is very refined and I always have really problems to find the scent that can capture my interest and that doesn't bother me ..So it took me some time to understand if it works for me or not .And suddenly, the magic happened.Now I am definitely crazy about this scent.The only flaw is that it doesn't last long on my skin so I have to spray it several times during the day.For the rest is just great.
