It's ok, but not wow!
I've been using the Hinoki version of Le Labo and wanted a change. It's good but not as strong smell as Hinoki. I prefer the Basil hand soap to the shower gel.

I bought this in the Hinoki fragrance and I love it. It's a wonderful smell - woody and peppery - impossible to describe but certainly unisex. The scent lingers beautifully too. I've already repurchased!

I was bought the shower gel in the Hinoki scent as a birthday gift & I was so happy as I have the hand soap, hand lotion & pomade in Hinoki and love the products I have. The gel is surprisingly thick, you do not need to use a lot as it goes a long way, & just like the oil, the gel turns a milky white colour when it comes into contact with water. It leaves the skin feeling nourished, soft & the smell lingers for some time but is quite subtle. This is a must-have if you adore the Hinoki scent and a definite repurchase for me!

A little bit of luxury
This shower gel is beautiful. A little goes a long way and the aroma is subtle but distinctive. I like to mix up scents once I find a shower gel I love so i'll definitely be purchasing the Basil and Mandarin scents following my love of Hinoki.

Wonderful cedar scent
I purchased this as a gift for a friend after he had been in Japan and fallen in love with the baths there. According to him, it's not quite the same as a hinoki-clad sauna, but it does help to recapture that sensation of both warmth and freshness. He loves it, and it seems to make a great, unusual gift.

Great shower gel
I am a big fan of the fragrance and shampoo and conditioner so I thought I would try the shower gel. There is no question it's a great consistency and smell but 4 stars instead of 5 was really due to price. There are other less expensive shower gels that give a similar lux feel and smell
