Not so great...

I have several shades from this range - I own full-size versions of Bloodmoon and Posh, and minis of Beet It, Cindy and Vibe. I tried, I really tried! But these are just so inconsistent in a performance that I've decided not to buy from their lip range again, at least in this formula. Bloodmoon is an awful shade - it's extremely crumbly and virtually unwearable (thank goodness it was limited edition). The rest have good wear times, are transfer-proof, and are some really pretty shades, but they're so drying and it makes them uncomfortable to wear. Generally, they're just poor quality liquid lipsticks, and you can find much better dupes for the same price, or just a little more.

Not the colour

I ordered the colour 'Saint' and it is more of a brown rather than a dark pink/red. Great quality but disappointed by that colour. (my natural lip colour is peachy red for reference)

My favourite liquid lipstick formula

I love these lipsticks! In terms of liquid lipstick, I've found these to be the best out of all of those I've tried. The formula is great, doesn't take long to dry and stay on really well. I have Bleached, New Americana, Cupid and Faded and I love them all except Faded (it doesn't look purple at all in real life, so I found the photo really misleading). I would definitely recommend these lipsticks.

Not like expected

I ordered the color "new americana"... which is a beautiful color! For this I would give 5 stars, BUT poor adhesion at the inside of the lip! Ok, that's alway's my problem... but the limecrime is one of the badest ever had... a great pity, because I love the color. He also dries my lips, although I cream them before.

Love it

I have the colours Pumpkin, New Americana, and Beet it. The colour is opaque, does not dry out my lips. Stays on for quite a while, of course, it gets melted by fatty foods. An absolute win for me!

All the Velvetines please

I have about 9 or 10 of these now in various shades and honestly I can't get enough! They all last so so long, amazingly easy to apply and don't dry my lips out too much. Of course I have to exfoliate them and use balm after wear, but they are just so amazing. It's such a shame the shade rustic isn't available on here...

amazing shades great texture

I have a number of Velvetines in a few different shades and the pigment never disappoints. Beautiful shades! My go-to brand for lip! However, I've found that different batches of the same shade can differ - I have two in 'Wicked' and one formula seems to be a better quality than the other. They are also a little drying, but I just use a lip scrub after removing my makeup to keep my lips from chapping.

waste of money

I ordered Pumpkin and the colour I got was totally different to the picture on the website, however, that’s not the worst part. When I received the item the bottle wasn’t even half full as I noticed when I left the bottle stood upright for several hours. Not worth £16!!

Great product but dry

I love the color and pigmentation of my lipstick in Bleached. It looks stunning and after it dries it is very long lasting. It can be a little on the dry side but my lips are not dry after wear, it just feels dry while wearing it.
