It’s a cold winter morning in 1971 Chamonix, France. Rain is hammering against the windows as you draw a blanket closer around you – warmed by the fire and its unmistakeably inviting crackle.
Perfectly androgynous, the Replica By The Fireplace Eau De Toilette is a snapshot in time – a bottled memory of ‘burning wood and chestnut’, made with fruity, spicy, sharp top notes of pink pepper, orange flower petals and clove oil. Like a pile of fresh firewood, the scent boasts earthy, heady middle notes of chestnut accord, gaïac wood oil and cade oil – balanced with sweet base notes of vanilla accord, Peru balsam and cashmeran, like toasted marshmallows in front of a dancing flame. Coming in two different sizes – 100ml and an exclusive 30ml – you now never need be without your favourite fragrance.

Favourite winter time fragrance
This smells like heaven to me, it’s so warm and cosy for the wintertime, with the roasted chestnuts giving it an unusual smoky scent but the warmth is brought back in and reinforced with the sweet vanilla! It’s perfect!!

I knew I’d like this perfume from the description and when it arrived I was not disappointed… the first spray is like WOW have I set something on fire but then it dries down to a beautiful, complex, woody scent. I assume it’s aimed at being an auntumn/winter scent and it will fit great for then but honestly I’m loving it now in summer as it reminds me of sitting round a bonfire whilst camping on a summer evening. It was between this and “jazz club” and “by the fireside” has just topped it because it’s so unusual.
