Malin and Goetz advanced renewal moisturiser
Wow. A moisturising powerhouse. I received a sample of the Mailn and Goetz advanced renewal moisturiser in the Cult Beauty Goody bag, and my skin loves it. I wasn't the most excited about this sample, I've always loved the Malin and Goetz simple packaging, but I was nore excited to try other products within the bag. Again, when I actually tried the formula, I was underwhelmed, it is incredibly light and runny, serum like in consistency, and has a natural smell. I prefer my skincare to be unscented, and found the smell calming. On application, my skin felt instantly soothed, it left a slight tacky feeling to the skin. Throughout the day I noticed my skin looking plumper and more hydrated. I use a prescription strength retinoid at night, I layered this moisturiser over it and woke up with plump hydrated skin (normally the retinoid dries my skin out). I'm sold, and the full sized product has gone straight on my wishlist.

Give a litte
I got this in the recent Self Care Goody Bag and when I tried it on my hand to feel the texture and smell the scent I didn't like it at all. The smell is quite medicinal and the texture is running with a milky lotion feel to it. BUT, low and behold, I tried this for three days, morning and evening, it went on overall my skincare beautifully, like most scents they don't last on the skin so no medicinal smelly face but my complexion literally changed overnight. Each morning I woke up with a beautifully even complexion. I'm super dry and acne scarring is my main concern, I do need to use an oil always as it's not thick enough for me but I'd definitely say it's an amazing treatment moisturiser and will be perfect for the warmer months.
