Leading the charge for change within the nail industry, Manucurist is a vegan and cruelty-free brand made in France. They pride themselves on swapping harsh ingredients for natural, eco-friendly alternatives that promote glossy, long-lasting manicures and healthy nails. An essential addition to your at-home manicure arsenal, the brand’s Green Flash Top Coat is an exceptionally durable (we’re talking 10 whole days of shine) clear gel polish that will provide a flawless foundation for any polishes to come.
Promising a pro-level mani from the comfort of your sofa (we’re sold already), Manucurist’s Green Flash Base is the first step in acing a gel nail routine you’ll love — without smothering your nails in iffy ingredients you’re not so keen on.
Designed to add a layer of protection to even the weakest of nails, all while coating them in an adherent natural resin that will keep nail polish chip-free for up to 10 days. Think of the Green Flash range as gel nails, reimagined: all the high shine, vibrant colour and impressive longevity, without any of that tell-tale thickness on the nail. All this and the base coat is formulated with 84% bio-sourced ingredients including sugar cane, corn, wheat and cotton — all of which are biodegradable and a whole lot better for the environment.
Ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, acrylates copolymer, HEA / IPDI isocyanurate trimer / polycaprolactone diol copolymer, nitrocellulose, acetyl tributyl citrate, tris-HEA IPDI isocyanurate trimer, adipic acid / neopentyl glycol / trimellitic anhydride copolymer, hydroxyethyl PP-15 acrylate / IPDI / 15 glyceryl ether copolymer, isopropyl alcohol, ethyl trimethylbenzoyl phenylphosphinate, CI 60725 (violet 2)
For the latest information, it is recommended to review the ingredient list printed on the packaging of the product prior to usage or consumption.
After applying your favourite gel base coat and nail colour, apply the Green Flash Top Coat and cap the free edge of the nail. Place nails under an LED lamp for 1 minute under the 36W setting or 2 minutes under the 18W setting.

Great
I want to start by saying that I’m not comparing this system to traditional gel polish as I have never used gel polish. I really like this. It’s easy to use and prolongs the wear of the green flash colour polish.

Love this system
Love this system, takes me 10 mins to apply my polish and it lasts all week! Removing is a piece of cake, 2 mins with the remover and clips and it peaks off and doesn’t damage my nails

Wouldn’t recommend
Personally I wouldn’t recommend buying the manucurist gel nail polishes as they chip away at the top very quickly and don’t last very long. Regret buying it would rather just buy their normal nail polishes.

Great!
So this is an easy to use and lovely finish topcoat that helps when you need a nail detox after one too many quick traditional gel nail removals that have left your nails flakey and weaker or if you wanted a more natural polish. However, though I really loved this I did find depending on the colour underneath not quite as glossy as I like with gels and just to give you a realistic expectation of how long your nails will last this does not last as long as traditional gels. A lovely tip I found is that if there is a normal nail polish you have that you love you can use the Manicurist Base coat dry, then use your polish which you will have to wait till is dry than apply this topcoat and use the lamp again to dry.
