After cleansing in the morning (but before applying sunscreen to your face), apply a liberal amount around the eye area, avoiding eyelids. Follow with SPF all over. Reapply throughout the day as needed. Apply every 2 hours if in direct sunlight.

Lovely texture
I really like this - bought this specifically because it has a spf in it, as I use retinol at night only need a small amount - would give it 5 stars but the pump action on the tube doesn’t always work and I spend ages pumping it trying to get product out.

Medik8 Advanced Day Eye protect
It's not easy to find an eye cream that has this level of SPF and 5* UVA protection. This is all the more important if you use a retinol eye cream at night like I do. This is a lovely hydrating eye cream which sinks in well and sits under my concealer nicely. The only slight criticism is the packaging. I find that the pump gets blocked and I have to stick a pin in to the opening to get it working again. I understand that the pump keeps the ingredients more fresh than a straightforward tube might do, but Medik8 might want to have a look at this to see if it can be improved. However this won't put me off buying it again because the product inside is so good!

Nice one
This is my first eye cream with SPF so I love using it during the day - with no fear. I usually apply makeup but even if I don’t I feel protected in the heat (I live in a hot place). I use their other eye serum for the night and that’s an absolute dream. This eye cream is a little thick and a little goes a long way. It has lasted a while and I will be repurchasing it.

This is not for me
The cream is very thick, when you squeeze it out of the tube a lot of product comes out, so you have to smear it on the floor of the face. If it gets on the mucous membrane of the eyes, it stings very much. This lasts all day because if you accidentally scratch your eyes during the day, the eye will become irritated again even with makeup.

Stings my eyes
I've tried so hard to avoid my eyelids but whatever I do, it seems to end up in my eyes causing stinging. It does this with or without eye makeup and even tried at night. I've had to stop using it. I have had good results with other Medik8 products thought.

Mixed feelings
This eye cream is thick, feels nice, and doesn't sting my eye, but it also breaks my under eye area out, I paused and resumed a couple of times just to be sure and I can safely say the product just isn't suitable for my under eye.. really didn't want it to go to waste so now I just use it on my upper eye area.

Love this eye cream!
I have very sensitive eyes and every other SPF I've used causes them to sting at some point during the day. I use this during the day before I apply my SPF50 on the rest of my face to protect the eye area and it completely does the job. Super-hydrating and de-puffing as well! I'd love it if they released an SPF50 version too. (Just to make it easier for you to judge if it will be right for you - I have fair, combination skin)
