After cleansing in the evening, massage a small amount across the face, neck and décolletage. Allow to absorb before applying your moisturiser. Use twice a week for the first two weeks, every other night for the next two weeks, then every night. Always wear sunscreen the following morning while using this product, and for one week after.

Having used Medik8 products for over 2yrs now, I cannot fault this product at all. My skin would be quite sensitive but I haven’t had a reaction at all, no dryness, flakiness, the dreaded retinol purge or tightness. It’s a wonderful product!

Love this product
I first tried Retinal 3 from Caroline Hirons’ winter kit. If the queen says it’s good I believe her! Important - you do need to ease into this slowly. After five months my fine lines are definitely improved, particularly around my eyes and upper cheeks when smiling. Skin looks plumper, smoother, and lines not as deep. Am now trying the 6 and looking forward to continued good results!

Truly impressive
I’ve been using Medik8 products for about 6 months and have made my way up the ladder. This is truly amazing in terms of effectiveness and is in a class of its own, however, it’s really important to wear SPF (50) religiously.

Gentle and effective
I have dry/sensitive skin and almost all retinol products make it extremely dehydrated. This is wonderful and you can notice the result almost immediately (increased clarity & glow). I have used other retinoids before, this is just a notch up in strength. Will definitely repurchase.

Great product with visible result
Medik8 retinal has a great texture and gentle affect which provides a visible result within 3 months of use. I personally have resilient skin so I cannot say for sure if the product is non-irritating for sure, but from my own experience, I jump to this strength from 1 month of Retinal 3, and before that, I was using retinol from THE INKEY LIST. So I think the transition is perfect for me in my own experience. After upping the strength from 3 to 6 (using them in mix), I still did not experience any irritation and still see results in the firmness of my skin. Overall retinoid is a long-term game, and I'm glad this product worked for the time being for me, hoping that it will continue to provide me all of the benefits in the next few years when my own bio-activities in the skin start to slow down. Definitely recommend it to an experienced retinol user who cannot get Tret from a prescription.

I’m getting fantastic results on texture and fine lines with no irritation. Bad reviews I guess had unrealistic expectations of going back to their teen years… I think this is as good as it gets outside prescription retinoic acid.

Amazing
I love love love this product. I've initially started with Crystal retinal 3 (which was a bit too light but do not regret the purchase), then purchased CR 6. Do not believe in any negative reviews regarding this product. It works, but you need to be consistent. I have started using this retinol last year, in October (so almost 6 months ago) and will buy CR 10 after I have finished with the current one. It completely changes the texture of the skin.

not worth it at all
I can say straight off the bat this product is not worth the price tag. First of all, the packaging is the worst I’ve ever come across. The pump is horrid I can’t get any product out!! The retinol is so light I don’t feel anything at all and it doesn’t do much with the texture on my face. It makes me think how the other retinol products marketed by the brand for beginners are even lighter than this so do they even do anything? I think this would be great for those with extremely sensitive skin.

I love this retinal, I started off introducing these types of products using The Inkey List retinol, it did the job but wasn’t the nicest consistency or smell, so graduating to The Medik8 Retinal 6 was a welcomed change! Smells amazing, the texture is lovely and creamy without being oily and my skin is loving it! Will likely go up to next Crystal Retinal when this runs low, can’t wait!
