Supercharged with 0.3% retinol (AKA the most well-known form of vitamin A), this night treatment improves the look of uneven tone and texture by brightening and smoothing the complexion over time. This powerful ingredient also works to boost the skin's firmness while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Its performance is enhanced by climbazole, an agent which gently boosts the activity of retinol. And just to make sure you skin remains comfortable on your retinol journey, this potent formula is infused with barrier-boosting squalane and antioxidant-rich vitamin E to lightly moisturise. After cleansing in the evening, massage four drops across the face, neck and décolletage. Allow to absorb then follow with a moisturiser. We recommend Advanced Night Restore which is specifically designed to be used after vitamin A. Retinol application should be phased in gradually. Use twice a week for the first two weeks, every other night for the next two weeks, then every night.

Makes such a difference
I was quite nervous to try retinol serum for the first time but this is a great one to start with. I started using it one a week and then gradually built it up to everyday and I can honestly say it has massively improved my skin. Gentle retinol
I got this in a Cult Beauty goody bag a while back and only just got to try it. I’d heard good things about Medik8 Retinols and this is a really pleasant, gentle and effective starter retinol. I use a prescription tretinoin on my face but my neck is really sensitive and gets irritated easily. This encapsulated retinol does not irritate or redden the skin on my neck and I’m hoping to gradually increase strength over time.

a great start to retinols
I received this as part of the Cult Beauty gift bag a few years ago and I have to say, I was very impressed. Not only does it work, but it's also lightweight and absorbs well. I have since moved on to the 6TR which is a little miracle in a bottle. Wonderful product!
