Making skin care simple, Medik8 takes the fuss out of caring for your complexion. Powered by three key ingredients: vitamin C, vitamin A and non-negotiable SPF, the brand's signature skin care saviours are famed for their potent potions. Discover the Surface Radiance Cleanse (150ml), a gel-to-foam formula designed to gently wash away any impurities while refreshing, brightening and smoothing your complexion.
Looking for the perfect second step in your face wash routine? Cue Medik8's Surface Radiance Cleanse (150ml) to do the trick.
Powered by an exfoliating AHA and BHA complex (AKA l-lactic, l-mandelic and salicylic acids), this gel-to-foam cleanser gently exfoliates the skin as you massage it in, to improve the appearance of uneven texture, fine lines, wrinkles and dullness. It's infused with antioxidant-rich mangosteen extract to defend against environmental aggressors too, while the enrichment of glycerin traps moisture to keep your complexion comfortable and hydrated post-wash. Plus, it's infused with an uplifting citrus scent. The result? Skin will appear radiant and healthy-looking with a youthful glow.
Aqua (Water), Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate, Cocamidopropyl Hydroxysultaine, Glycerin, Mandelic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Citric Acid, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Sodium Hydroxide, Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Fruit Extract, Yucca Schidigera Root Extract, Lactic Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Maltodextrin, Disodium EDTA, Garcinia Mangostana (Mangosteen) Peel Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Oil, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Citrus Aurantium Amara (Bitter Orange) Peel Oil, Limonene, Linalool.

Happy
This stuff is good and comes in a healthy sized tube. Gentle but does exfoliate. It does smell heavily of orange oil though

Not for me
I don’t have particularly sensitive skin. Oily complexion. I already use acid toners and 6 medik8 retinol. I used this 4 times and it turned my skin to sand paper. Lumpy, cracked dry. It obviously does the job, if it suits your skin. I’m now having to treat my skin back to health. Not good for me at all.

Caused reaction, redness and breakouts
I really had hope for this product and it seemed simple and like it could be effective. I used it for a couple of days and immediately had spots appear on my face, which was unusual at that time. These were not pleasant at all and took weeks to fade after I stopped using the face wash. After a month I thought I should try again, as it may be the spots were unrelated, or reacted to the moisturiser. I tried again with a different moisturiser over it. The exact same thing happened with the spots appearing in the exact same type of way. I can't use this product again.

Not ideal for sensitive or dry skin
Used this product for two days (as it was recommended to me). This gel made my skin even more dry and it caused a rash all over my skin with dry patches that took a week to disappear. This is the worse reaction I’ve ever had from a cleanser before. Not ideal for sensitive or dry skin.

Well impressed!
This is perfect for my oily to combination skin. A small amount of this clear gel goes a long way and leaves my skin perfectly clean with no tight feeling. Lathers into a light foam that rinses off easily. It’s brightened my complexion and leaves my skin smooth and clean ready for serum and moisturiser. A bargain price for a great cleanser.

A good face wash
Good product! I bought it to deal with the bumps on my face. It contains gentle acids that work well, but do not dry out sensitive skin.

Very stripping!!
I wanted to love this cleanser so much but it literally stripped layers off my skin. After one use my skin was so dry/bumpy for almost a week causing me to have to cut out all actives. I tried it again but it done the exact same thing. Be careful with this cleanser unless you’ve built up a tolerance to acids.
