Milk Makeup's Hydro Grip Primer (45ml) boasts a silky gel formula that gives your look real staying power while remaining invisible against the skin.
This green-tinted primer glides on smoothly to form a layer that locks make up in place for up to 12 hours while granting a natural, dewy finish. Our favourite part? The formula is enriched with nourishing aloe water, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide *and* blue agave extract (hello hydration...) to deliver good-to-skin benefits at the same time. Pump 1-2 shot(s) of primer on the back of your hand. Blend a thin layer onto clean skin before make up application. Allow formula one minute to fully absorb to activate grip for all-day hold. Layer foundation and other make up on top for smoother application that lasts all day, or wear alone for fresh-faced, glassy skin.

Personally didn’t work for me
I’d seen so many good things about this but unfortunately didn’t work for me. When I applied my foundation on top (following the instructions), it pulled my foundation off and didn’t really help it stay I have oily skin so this might be a reason but something to be aware of. A real shame as I love so many other products from Milk.

Great primer
I had read through so many reviews of this product and wanted to try it out as I am always on the look out for a great primer that grips make up but also hydrates. This definitely ticks both boxes. It feels really lightweight but still performs. The only downside is how small the bottle is and reading a lot of reviews people have pointed out how much more generous Milk used to be with their product sizes so it’s a bit of shame they have shrunk them!
