Milk Makeup's Hydro Grip Primer (45ml) boasts a silky gel formula that gives your look real staying power while remaining invisible against the skin.
This green-tinted primer glides on smoothly to form a layer that locks make up in place for up to 12 hours while granting a natural, dewy finish. Our favourite part? The formula is enriched with nourishing aloe water, hyaluronic acid, niacinamide *and* blue agave extract (hello hydration...) to deliver good-to-skin benefits at the same time. Pump 1-2 shot(s) of primer on the back of your hand. Blend a thin layer onto clean skin before make up application. Allow formula one minute to fully absorb to activate grip for all-day hold. Layer foundation and other make up on top for smoother application that lasts all day, or wear alone for fresh-faced, glassy skin.

Great primer
I had read through so many reviews of this product and wanted to try it out as I am always on the look out for a great primer that grips make up but also hydrates. This definitely ticks both boxes. It feels really lightweight but still performs. The only downside is how small the bottle is and reading a lot of reviews people have pointed out how much more generous Milk used to be with their product sizes so it’s a bit of shame they have shrunk them!

I really enjoy this primer and primarily (ha!) use it under my eyes, checks, forehead and chin where my pores/wrinkles show the most. I would advise to let it sit on your face for a few minutes before applying the rest of the make-up. It's quite pricey though but a little goes a long way, and I only purchased it twice in smaller size which lasted aged!

'Grip' is the right word
This primer really does deserve all the hype. No matter how many new ones I try, this one is my trustworthy one to fall back onto especially if I have a long day. It works with all of my foundations really well and the tacky feeling doesn't last long at all nor is it unpleasant sitting on the skin.
