Disappointed
I am disappointed the brush itself is great but there is way too much mascara inside which makes the end effect less the ideal and requires othere mascaras to brush the extra filling out.

Beautiful Rise
The instant effects of this mascara on me are just stunning, sadly it's not the right formula for me as my uniquely oily eyelids still saw smudging and flaking within an hour of application, and the curl fell not long after. This is coming from someone with extremely fussy lashes though, and I was bowled over at how amazing my lashes looked as I first applied this, which is no doubt how well this will work for most people. It is quite a dry formulation too, with a bigger brush so those with a smaller or hooded eye like me may struggle with this, but the easy to hold packaging is incredibly inclusive for anyone with dexterity issues. Just another small but incredibly inclusive way that Milk really welcomes everyone into their brand.

Great Brush!
What I like most about this mascara is the shape of the brush. It grips every single lash and gives me a lovely fluffy look! I also love that the formula is on the dryer side which is what I prefer. I did find that it smudged a bit towards the end of the day so I would probably not wear it in the summer but it's a lovely mascara for "dressed down" days.

I get why it's called Rise
It definitely holds a curl and adds some length. I haven't experienced any flaking with this mascara yet. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that it's a dry formula and I normally go for mascara with a wet consistency!

Natural lashes
I'm a massive fan of the KUSH mascara/ Milk in general so I was excited to try this! Firstly, I really like the packaging - I've tried so many mascaras over the years and this is definitely something a bit different and stands out in my collection. Now onto the actual formula! It gave my lashes a nice amount of volume and curl but I just wasn't blown away - having said this I am a bit lazy with mascara so I like something that is going to give me volume straight away rather than something you need to build up. I know this is supposed to be more natural compared to 'KUSH' and I think this would be an amazing mascara for those who want something natural for the daytime/ throughout the week. I will definitely be using this mascara, however, I just probably wouldn't repurchase it as there are others I prefer.

The Rise Mascara not only has the perfect grip, but the brush is perfect for my extra curly lashes! My lashes are instantly lengthened and hardly any mess on the eyelids (which happens often!)
