For a short and oh-so sweet pamper sesh, look no further than Milk Makeup’s fruit-infused Watermelon Brightening Face Mask. Not just a refreshing treat to enjoy on a sunny afternoon, watermelon is rich in antioxidants – particularly vitamin C – which protect against free radicals and soothe inflammation. Another natural skin saviour is Swiss garden cress extract, which provides a brightening boost and minimises the appearance of dark spots for a more even skin tone. The easy-to-use solid formula is ideal for the fast pace of modern life – simply swipe it over your skin, leave for five minutes and tah-dah, get ready to slay the day (or chill with your good ol’ pal, Netflix) with gorgeously glowing skin.
We’ve got a sweet spot for this fruit-infused vegan mask. Enriched with antioxidant-rich watermelon extract and prickly pear extract, it hydrates thirsty complexions while vitamins C and E help fight against free radicals. The mask leaves skin with a brighter, more even and with seemingly smaller pores courtesy of Swiss garden cress sprout and lentil extracts, while our favourite moisture magnet, hyaluronic acid, plumps de-hydrated cells. Unlike many a clay mask, the Watermelon Brightening Face Mask is solid and incredibly easy to use in a flash. Quickly swipe the stick over your skin to absorb all its illuminating benefits, leave for a few minutes and rinse – it really is as easy and quick as that.

I wish I loved it
Lovely packaging and application, however, the product itself didn't live up to my expectations. I thought the product would have an amazing scent but honestly couldn't smell anything. My skin didn't benefit from this brightening face mask at all and I found the tightness of my skin pretty intense afterwards.

Not sure what to think...
Very soft texture in tube, but I just don't see any difference on my skin... I have combination skin and when washing off it makes my skin feel very tight. Very odd considering it's supposed to be a "brightening boost". I use it once a week now as I hate how tight my skin feels after using it. Not sure how the rest of the MILK range will be...

Overhyped
I have been using this product for week and I have not noticed any brightening effects. My skin does not look much different after application which just makes this product an overpriced stick mask. The stick applicator is great, especially for a clay mask. I give it that! However, the worst of it is not that it does not help my skin the way it is supposed to, but that it led to the worst breakouts of my life. I have cystic acne around my chin and not even that ever looked as bad as the spots I got from using this product. I am very careful with cleansing so that ain’t it. The only difference to my routine was this product. Never been so disappointed in a product before. I should say in a brand as none of the products from this brand that I tried lived up to their expectations.

Slightly Disappointing
If you're expecting this to smell like watermelon, think again. Just has a bland 'nothing' smell instead, not even the faintest hint of watermelon at all. I've been using this for a few weeks and honestly can't say I've seen any illuminating effects at all. I like the application, but I don't feel/see the product really doing much. Very disappointed to say that I think the whole Milk range is massively over-hyped - I purchased about 8 different products on launch and none of them lived up to the expectations in the slightest. A definite waste of money.
