Sitting somewhere between a foundation, a concealer and a contour cream, this comfortable and multitasking formula always ensures a natural, skin-like finish no matter what you use it for. Whether you decide to use it as an all-over base, to brighten your dark circles or to contour (just opt for a shade darker than your skin tone), this skin-friendly formula calls on arnica to reduce redness; edelweiss to keep skin soft and supple; aloe vera to attract moisture and plump; sunflower extract to enrich with free radical-fighting vitamin E; antioxidant-rich rosemary extract to calm the skin; and anti-inflammatory chamomile to soothe.

Natural looking results, multi purpose.
Interesting product. I have combi skin, dry patch on one cheek and dry above eyebrows and oily tzone. I agree with other reviews it can be tricky to apply but for me and my dry patches I need a beauty blender, a brush just accentuates my flaky area. 4 starts only because it takes a bit of figuring out best application depending on skin type. Surprisingly pigmented even when you think you haven't got much on your brush / sponge. It does not settle into lines. It does take a little time to melt into skin, but when it does it's so natural and beautiful. Worth the money and persistence to get right application. I needed something that would work with my strange combi skin and that will last for long hospital shifts. I have spent a shameful amount of £ on searching for the right foundation, I've tried nearly all of them I'd say. I think I'll stop now! I think this one does it all.

My favourite base
I adore the Monika Blunder Beauty Blunder. I have shades 2.5, 3 and 3.5 and swop between them each depending on whether I have a bit of tan. The application is best with a short, dense brush (I like the Chanel.one that comes with the water base) or the MB brush itself. It's really adaptable and easy to use a bit more sheer or heavier if you want. It's great for travel as doesn't leak and also doesn't count towards liquids. It also lasts forever. I've had compliments from friends who ask if I'm wearing any foundation as it looks so natural yet provides lovely cover. I'd suggest starting with a light application first and then building up in areas where you want move cover.

I love this stuff. The colour match is great for me and the coverage just at the sweet spot. (I do think the brush you use with this makes a huge difference though...and unfortunately my favourite foundation brush doesn't work with it at all, so bear that in mind if you're struggling with it.)

On the fence
I so want to love this but have found it more temperamental than I’d hoped. Some days it looks amazing, others it’s dry and unflattering. Very good skin prep is essential! I have dry skin but am not prone to flakiness and even still, it can be difficult, so I’m not sure I’d recommend this product to anyone with texture.

You need to experiment with this product. Straight out of the jar on me it’s a thick greasy mess BUT if I mix it with an oil or moisturiser it looks beautiful almost undetectable. I can use it neat to spot conceal and the colour match is one of my best

A little goes a long way
This is unlike any other complexion product I’ve tried. The texture is almost balmy but smooths like a liquid foundation. I have combination skin, but use Tretinoin so often get dry patches. This is good for the dry patches as it melts into them rather than highlighting them. I don’t always need to powder on top, but I always have to make sure I prep my base well and have suitably moisturised skin. You can build coverage really easily and the product doesn’t separate during wear. I can see why people would buy other colours to contour and highlight, the product is that good.
