Smooth 1-2 pumps onto dry (yes, dry) skin. Wet your fingertips and gently massage for 15 seconds. Immerse compress cloth in warm/hot water, wring tightly then hold steamy compress against your face, inhaling deeply to find your inner stillness. Wipe away with slow and deliberate movements. Repeat compress 2-4 times. Master this step and your skin will thank you forever.

An awesome cleanser
I first tried this cleanser because of Caroline Hirons beauty box, then fell in love with it. I have a lot of cleansers, about 10 different cleansers at the same time, I would vary my choices depending on the skin conditions, the weather, my mood...etc. And this one has become one of the must have, smell is great, not too strong, and very gentle. I usually use it as a morning cleanse or second cleanse in the evening. I don't think it would be suitable as a make up remover. My face feels fresh and nourished after use, and is prepped for the following skincare routine.

Nice but...
This is an OK cleanser. Doesn't remove makeup as a first cleanse very well, you'd need to go in twice. But the smaller size is TINY. It doesn't smell of much - for some reason I was expecting it to smell of roses - not sure why! I think the 3 minute skin ritual made me think it was going to be a wonderfully aromatic product. Not widely available in Melbourne despite being Australian made. Going to finish it and then go back to Emma Hardie which seems to suit my skin much better.

Very good
I have combination skin that has been acne prone in the last year post pregnancy. I tried everything and nothing worked. Once I tried the MV cleanser along with the moisturiser it cleared my skin within 2 weeks. I dont love the texture but it does cleanse makeup off easily. I cleanse using the MV muslin cloth which I find works well.

Absolutely addictive!
I found the texture strange to work with to begin with, but once emulsified it becomes the most delicious consistency. Removes mascara with zero irritation. I'm obsessive with removing every last scrap of make up and this does the job exquisitely without causing the skin any stress. A second cleanse takes away the redness around my nose and of my acne scars. Once removed my skin is hydrated, softened and completely spotless. Perfection for rosacea skin.

Great for acne-prone skin
This is an excellent cleanser for sensitive acne-prone skin. It cleans without stripping, thereby controlling the production of sebum. Maybe for drier skins is not so good, but if you have sensitive and oily/acne-prone skin give it a go.

Just a general cleanser
I bought this with a few other things from the MV Organics range hoping it would help my ultra sensitive skin. Unfortunately I found this to be just like any other bog standard cleanser. It did help the constant dry skin on my nose, but I found if I hadn't fully removed the product from my face I would come up in painful spots. I also found that once you could no longer pump anymore cleanser out there was still quite a bit stuck around the top of the container that you just couldn't get to and it felt like a waste of product and my money.

Surprisingly, I absolutely love it!
I have oily to combination and ridiculously sensitive skin. I always used stronger cleansers and less rich creams to keep the oiliness at bay. While this helped the breakouts, my skin became dehydrated and sometimes even irritated. For the last three weeks I tried the MV organics skin care routine: starting with the cream cleanser, washing it off with MV organics cloth and following up with the MV Organics soothing and moisturising cream. My skin is glowing! The transformation was really surprising. No more breakouts, hydrated and moisturised skin which is so unbelievably soft to touch, no irritation and no excessive sebum production. Plus in the last week I noticed that my black spots slowing started fading. So I am a convert now. I highly recommend it for anyone who suffers from breakouts but feels the need to use something with extra oomph to protect their sensitive skins from the effects of city pollution and weather!

Disappointed
I was really looking forward to trying this after reading all the positive reviews but I was sadly disappointed. Putting it on dry skin as per the instructions I found it really thick and hard to work with and seemed to disappear into the skin as you worked it. I agree it smells nice and feels gentle but in terms of value for money its expensive for the amount of product (70 ml). I normally do a double cleanse in the evening so it wouldn’t last me long at all. Compared with other cleansers in a similar price range this was a big let down for me.

Amazing cleanser
This is by far the best hot cloth cleanser I have ever used. Having tried a few of the famous names around town, balm and cream, I have finally found a hot cloth cream cleanser that not only leaves my skin smooth and soft, but also free of redness, tightness and dryness. Cleansing my skin day and night with this cleanser is such a pleasure I just re-ordered to stock up. Use in conjunction with the oil cleanser for the ultimate cleansing experience. LOVE THIS CLEANSER!!!
