nice colour
nice summery red colour. The only thing is that the colour requires 2 layers for opaqueness but it's quite thick so can feel a bit uncomfortable.

Nice and glossy
After finally admitting defeat with gel manicures - my natural nails are just too weak to cope - I turned to NAILS.INC for the days when I fancied nice nails. I was not disappointed by these polishes, they're exactly what I was looking for. Black Taxi in particular is great - super opaque and glossy. My biggest pet peeve with nail varnishes is when they are gloopy, don't dry properly and get lots of bubbles and dents in. You don't get any of this with these, especially if you use the NAILS.INC fast dry top coat (which is AMAZING, 10/10 recommend). These last me about 4-7 days before starting to chip at the edges. If you want a gel-like manicure for a special occasion without any of the damage, then these are for you. Giving 4 stars as no nail varnish is perfect, but of all those I've tried, these come pretty close.

Terrible
This chips within a day, even with the base and tip coat from the same brand. There are much better “clean” (whatever this means for nail polish) brands out there that actually last 2-3 days before chipping. No idea why this is advertised as “gel effect”

Chips
I treated myself to West End recently along with the top coat, as I've not been going for a gel manicure. I was very disappointed, having spent £15 on a nail varnish (and the same again on a top coat), branded as 'gel effect', to find that it instantly chipped. It's very thin and chips and peels very easily, leaving my nails looking terrible. I've removed and reapplied three times and had chips within one day each time. I've now gone back to other, cheaper products with much better results.

The best neutral ever! Porchester Square
I have always been on the hunt for my perfect natural every day nail polish. I will own up that I'm fairly lazy with my nails and rarely bother to paint them as unless I get shellac, they chip in about 10 minutes otherwise! First of all, this lasts a few days for me before chipping, which is unheard of for me! Secondly, the colour is just the perfect neutral toned grey ever. It just makes you look put together, and I always feel better with my nails done. I use the Lacquer Lock as my top coat and it has such good shiny finish with this. It has a really good pigment to it and I barely need to do a second coat either. My only negative with this is the packaging, I love the brush itself, but I find you have to lift the lid off before you can twist it open and closed directly from the smaller top to it. It's a minor issue and definitely wouldn't put me off buying it again though.
