Launched in 1994 by French make up artist and photographer François Nars, NARS has remained at the forefront of the beauty space with its collection of trend-led, high-performance covetable cosmetics (not to mention cheeky shade names too). Initially starting with 12 lipsticks, the brand has gone on to develop the Afterglow Lip Balm (3g), a moisturising hero that cloaks your pout in a sheer tint of colour.

A bit too subtle!
While this feels lovely and hydrating the colour is basically non existent. While I wanted it to be a subtle tint, this is actually pretty much invisible on my lips. I might as well have just bought a plain lip balm and saved some money as this isn't cheap.
