Preventing smudging, creasing or caking, the Pro Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base (8g) works to keep your eye make up looking fresh all day.
Crafted with a blend of polymers and mineral powder, this formula establishes a firm grip on pigment, ensuring hours of wear and maximising the colour intensity of your eyeshadow or eyeliner. And skin care ingredients are involved too, with deep sea extract and antioxidant-rich rice extract smoothing your lids, prepping them for eye make up and helping to keep your eyeshadow from travelling around the eye area. So, whether you're going for a light wash of a daytime neutral or an all-out seriously smoky eye, sweep this on first to ensure it stays put for as long as possible.

I have used this for years and years and can’t be without it. I have tried the odd product from other brands but nothing compares to this. I get really oily eyelids and can not keep any make up on my eyes without this. Mattifies the eyelid and my make up does not budge until I take it off. Would 100% recommend!

disappointing eye primer
I usually like Nars but this primer is pretty useless. I've tried putting it on and waiting a minute before putting on eyeshadow and I've tried putting eyeshadow on immediately after application and the results are the same - when you go to put eyeshadow on it drags and sticks and doesn't apply smoothly or evenly and when you try to blend another eyeshadow together it won't blend and looks awful. But not only that by the afternoon the eyeshadow has creased and is disappearing so it doesn't solve my oily eyelid problem at all. Not happy with this product do not purchase.

I have super oily eyelids and this KEEPS my eyeshadow on all day as well as making for a perfect base for shimmers/glitters to stick to. I do have quite watery eyes so it’s not perfect as my eyeshadow often smudges beneath my eyes but otherwise wonderful base.

Great primer
I have tried so many different eye shadow primers and always saw this one being recommended, having tried it I can now see why. It gives a great base for colours and extends the length of wear so much. I will definitely repurchase this in the future, but expect it will last a while as a little goes a long way!
