Launched in 1994 by French make up artist and photographer François Nars, NARS has remained at the forefront of the beauty space with its collection of trend-led, high-performance covetable cosmetics (not to mention cheeky shade names too). Initially starting with 12 lipsticks, the brand has gone on to develop the Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation (30ml), a light-as-air formula that delivers long-lasting, luminous wear.

Its weightless formula is breathable, blendable *and* buildable to offer medium-to-full coverage that's ideally suited to normal, combination or oily skin types. As if that wasn't enough, it resists oxidisation to leave you with a complexion that stays true to colour all day long. Plus, there are plenty of shades to choose from, so finding the most flattering hue for your skin tone couldn't be simpler. The final flourish? It's infused with a smoothie of raspberry, apple and watermelon extracts to support a smoother-looking complexion and leave you looking naturally radiant.

Nars foundation
I have been using this for three months and I really like it. A little goes a long way and one pump looks small when pumped out but it spreads very well especially if using a primer before hand. I use this with the Bobbi brown face base and it works really nicely. It is a long lasting foundation that sets but remains dewy. I set with powder which reduced the glow but it does look good all day long. It is full coverage in my opinion as I would normally only wear this on weekends or nights out and only spot conceal day to day.

I've gone back to this foundation as I used to love it. Medium / full coverage, lovely natural skin-like finish, I just wish it lasted better on my skin. I have normal skin so I had hoped for longer wear but if it's just for the evening then it's fine.

I have been a Charlotte tilbury foundation girl for yearsssss but I wanted to try something different and this bottle of goodness was what I chose. It is pretty amazing. It is full coverage but gives a beautiful finish to the skin. I have been using for a few days and I do really really like it. Be warned though it does oxidise, I would say it dries down one shade darker than when first put on the skin so be mindful when ordering. Initially I ordered Syracuse but it was way too dark and then went with my gut feeling as to what colour would suit me and this turned out to be perfect.
