Launched in 1994 by French make up artist and photographer François Nars, NARS has remained at the forefront of the beauty space with its collection of trend-led, high-performance covetable cosmetics (not to mention cheeky shade names too). Initially starting with 12 lipsticks, the brand has gone on to develop the Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation (30ml), a light-as-air formula that delivers long-lasting, luminous wear.

Its weightless formula is breathable, blendable *and* buildable to offer medium-to-full coverage that's ideally suited to normal, combination or oily skin types. Very Easy
Using the online colour match I was firstly amazed how good that was. This is one of the easiest foundations to apply and gives good coverage without looking like it is there. I did get the primer to which is gorgeous.

Not worth the hype or money
I got the shade Siberia which was a good match for Ivory. Although I found the foundation very drying and powdery finish. Definitely doesn’t stay on the skin. After only 2/3 hours I noticed the foundation starting to go patchy on my tzone. Wont buy again or recommend. Will be sticking to my drug store. Also has a very chemically smell and very watery. Not great coverage with sponge or brush

Dream foundation...
I can honestly say hand on heart I would recommend this to EVERYONE! My skin is very combination on my oilier zones it stays put all day and my in my drier patches it doesn’t seem to cling. If I were to be getting married this would be the foundation I’d choose. Also wore a mask with this foundation and got rained on and it stayed put.

Not for me
I wanted to love this as it was my first splurge on a Nars product. The colour match is perfect and when first applied it does look flawless but unfortunately throughout the day it separates and looks cakey. I watched countless videos on YouTube to find ways of making it work but alas I couldn’t. Every one I saw who reviewed it had the same result I did, and this was coming from people with various skin types. I’m still wearing it every day, desperate for it to suddenly work (different tools, primers, setting products) I don’t regret buying it, as I’m a firm believer in trying a product for yourself to see if it works for you rather than being persuaded by a highly rated review. Reading the reviews on here, plenty of buyers have been happy with their purchase. But sadly, it’s not for me.

Beautiful foundation
This is a lovely foundation. I find it works well on my dry skin. I haven’t had a lot of chance to test it out as we can’t go out anyway but the times I’ve used it my skin has looked really nice.

blends itself
Perfect colour match and ridiculously easy to blend out. It’s named very accurately - it’s natural, radiant, and long wear. Gives great medium-full coverage too. I would have given it 4.5 stars because it’s not quite as hardcore as Estee Lauder Double Wear (my favourite ever) but I very much enjoy this for daytime.

I’m so insecure with my skin, between spots and pores. This foundation covered everything and it lasts so long. Definitely worth the money!
