Launched in 1994 by French make up artist and photographer François Nars, NARS has remained at the forefront of the beauty space with its collection of trend-led, high-performance covetable cosmetics (not to mention cheeky shade names too). Initially starting with 12 lipsticks, the brand has gone on to develop the Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation (30ml), a light-as-air formula that delivers long-lasting, luminous wear.

Its weightless formula is breathable, blendable *and* buildable to offer medium-to-full coverage that's ideally suited to normal, combination or oily skin types. Plus, there are plenty of shades to choose from, so finding the most flattering hue for your skin tone couldn't be simpler. The final flourish? Greatest foundation on the earth for me

Love it!
At first, I was skeptical about purchasing this foundation as I have dry skin. However, it's amazing, gives you a radiant finish and lasts all day. I used it with the NARS radiant primer and the NARS tinted glow booster.

Disappointed
I only realised after buying that the brand wasn’t cruelty free (my fault for not researching). It’s very disappointing to see how many brands still test on animals when it’s clearly not necessary in the 21st century? The product is great but I’m sad I’ve put so much money towards something that makes innocent animals suffer.

Lifesaver!
Last summer I graduated on one of the hottest days in England, and this foundation held up throughout a 33-degree day! I also tend to sweat quite easily on my face and this foundation barely budged! It has an amazing finish, not too matte nor too dewy and the coverage is perfect. Also, the large shade range means that finding your perfect match is easy - even as a POC. Thanks Nars!

Flawless foundation

Great product
I really like this foundation. It is extremely full coverage and you only need one pump to pretty much do your whole face. It doesn't ever look too cakey or too matte. The shade Mont Blanc matches me perfectly.
