Launched in 1994 by French make up artist and photographer François Nars, NARS has remained at the forefront of the beauty space with its collection of trend-led, high-performance covetable cosmetics (not to mention cheeky shade names too). Initially starting with 12 lipsticks, the brand has gone on to develop the Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation (30ml), a light-as-air formula that delivers long-lasting, luminous wear.

Its weightless formula is breathable, blendable *and* buildable to offer medium-to-full coverage that's ideally suited to normal, combination or oily skin types. As if that wasn't enough, it resists oxidisation to leave you with a complexion that stays true to colour all day long. Plus, there are plenty of shades to choose from, so finding the most flattering hue for your skin tone couldn't be simpler. The final flourish? It's infused with a smoothie of raspberry, apple and watermelon extracts to support a smoother-looking complexion and leave you looking naturally radiant.

Okay foundation
This foundation was okay! I really liked it when I first purchased it but I have since found better for cheaper. This foundation tended to separate around my nose and mouth which I have never had happen before. I have oily skin so it may be better suited for dry skin.

Glow and staying power
This is my go to foundation. It’s easy to apply and doesn’t settle on my dry skin. It has a beautiful glow and makes your skin look dewy without looking greasy. It’s a buildable product so you can get a heavier coverage if required but is naturally a more light- medium foundation. I use the matching Nars primer and the Charlotte T setting spray and my base doesn’t move all day. I’ve been using this for years and I’ve never found anything that comes close. Yes you can get more glowy bases but they stay on for all over 10 minutes. If i want even more glow I just mix with some Hollywood filter.
