I've always been sceptical of ND eyeshadows - I had Midi Glam, Mini Love and Mini Gold before and did not understand the hype - shimmers were lackluster and mattes, especially darker ones, were patchy. Palettes had terrible longevity on hooded oily eyelids. I was mesmerised by the colour story and decided to give ND a try again. I was not disappointed! Shimmers are very beautiful and close to the indie brands' quality, mattes build and blend great. It lasts on me the whole day and makes my brown eyes pop. Cannot recommend enough if the colours are your cup of tea.

This is such a beautiful eyeshadow palette, especially if you love greens and vintage golds. The mattes are the usual good Natasha Denona quality, and there are two cream-to-powder shadows - these usually work well, but the orange doesn't have much colour payoff with a brush. You can create mostly green looks, with some murky browns and orange thrown in, and the one gunmetal silver shade. Overall, I adore green so this is perfect for me!! But bear this in mind if you don't usually wear green.

You know just by looking at this colour story if it’s up your street or not-if it is, it’s a joy. Beautiful formulas, so much texture and the looks you can create on brown eyes are incredible. So many of these shades feel like wearable but interesting neutrals to me. Love it

I thought that I'd not get much use out of this as from the photos the palette looked a little too yellow, or 'muddy' to me, and despite people telling me that golds, bronzes and greens would suit my brown eyes and olive toned skin, I generally prefer either pinks, or going all out with bold, bright and sometimes editorial looks. However, I am very glad I did get this as it's SO easy to create many beautiful looks from, ranging from easy to wear daytime with a little sparkle, to sophisticated evening glam, and also the more unusual, playful looks I'm a fan of, especially when paired with other ND palettes - for this one, I've used it with the Retro Glam, Bronze, and my all time favourite ND palette, Circo Loco, to create some really stunning looks, even though it's great just on it's own. Would definitely recommend to a first time ND palette buyer for how easy this one is to use and for wearability, and as a bonus, the gold shimmer shades are probably the most stunning sparkle I've seen from this brand yet!
