Marrying traditional Japanese beauty rituals with future-forward technology, NatureLab TOKYO's 'skin care for hair' harnesses nutrient-rich plant extracts and actives to enhance follicular wellbeing and fortify, heal and encourage your hair to achieve its full, head-turning potential. What with minimal packaging, minimal water usage and ethical practices during production, you can now use the Perfect Texture range to care for and clean your curls with a clean conscience to boot.
Like the rest of the Perfect Texture range, this wave cream strengthens and fortifies each strand to reduce the chances of breakage. It uses green sea grapes, omega 9 and Alpine rose extract to hydrate and moisturise both hair and scalp. Blue algae strengthens hair and protects your colour against fading (whether from washing or environmental damage), and flexible film formers work to activate and define your natural curl pattern without weighing strands down. Vitamin C-rich lychee encourages a healthy scalp, and each formula even boasts a deliciously refreshing matcha and mint scent - without any sulphates, silicones or animal-derived ingredients in sight.

Holy grail for fine waves and curls!
I have 2c waves which a fine and get weighed down by a lot of curl creams or get very dried out if I use gels or mousse. This has kept my curls hydrated and defined with very little frizz. Be warned it’s an odd texture and quite runny but stick with it as it works really well.

👍🏼
Nice enough texture cream which delivers good results when air drying my hair, keeps it wavy . Only thing I’m not too keen on is the texture as it’s so runny it’s hard to figure out how much product to use. Overall I like it and I think this brand is solid.

My curly hair
very nice curly hair after using, but the product stays on the hair also after second washing (by hairdresser) - so maybe is not ok to use it every showering..

A good curl cream
I have a mixture of 2b/2c waves and some 3a curls, and i really like product as it has a light consistency and also provides good hold, which i haven't found from other curl creams. I also feel like it really enhances my curl pattern.

Doesn’t make hair limp
I’ve tried both the wave and the curl cream but preferred the wave cream more. I have quite curly hair(3c) and it can get quite dry so it really helps give them some life and not make the hair heavy and limp. The only thing in noticed - and I’m not sure if it’s this or just the weather/heating/hormones - that my hair did start falling quite a bit.

Amazing
Each time I use these my curls are held and defined. Smells nice and a good price. I have dry and fine, curly Asian hair that I wear straight and is bleached so tons of damage and this is the only product that has enhanced the curl since bumbles sadly now out of circulation fine hair curl creme.

It works!
When I leave my hair to dry naturally it's usually quite wavy underneath with some loose waves/ frizz on top. I used a decent amount of product (maybe slightly larger than a 50p size) and scrunched this into my hair after towel drying it. This definitely enhanced my waves and made them a lot tighter. The only negative thing is that it did make my hair feel a little greasy underneath. This may have been down to using too much product though so I'm definitely going to try using this again with less product and will update my review!

Not sure what use this has!
This product is described as a curl cream, but it's got such a watery texture that when you dispense it into your hand it just flows out of the tube, making it really hard to control the amount you use. When you try to emulsify it on your hands it has a very thin gel texture that almost disappears, so it's also very difficult to actually apply to your hair or feel like there's much product in it. It didn't do anything bad to my hair but as far as I can tell it didn't do anything good either. Was a total waste of money for me. I have a mixture of tighter and looser natural waves and tried on both towel dried and damper hair, it may be more suitable for other curl types, but it is specifically being sold for waves so I'm stumped!
