Very special product

I love this. I have very fair and UV sensitive skin, so I always need to wear high SPF (everyone does, I guess). Most are thick, gooey and leaves a white cast - very bad underneath makeup. This is a soft fluid, which glides on the skin easily and is very moist. I use pure oil underneath it, slide it on, let it dry and then continue with makeup. I suffer from acne and scarring, but when I wear this, I feel much better with 'naked' skin. It sort of dries to a velvety finish and works kind of like as a very fine foundation or maybe BB-cream. And the SPF is great. It truly is a game changer for my sensitive, reactive skin as only a few minutes in the sun can make me break out in sun eczema - but thick, gooey sunscreen can make my acne break out. But this! I don't mind wearing it every day at all! I just wish there was a SPF50 version too!

OK but a bit drying

I don't consider myself to have dry skin, more combination (oily t-zone and dryer cheeks) but I even found that this made my usually oilier parts feel quite dry and tight throughout the day. I had no problem with the application and the colour, though they felt light and easy to apply however after it has settled my face just began to feel quite tight. My liquid highlighter also didn't sit very well on top of it. It seemed to sit on the surface of my skin rather than sinking in (which makes sense) but it then began to collect into creases which made me look like a had deep wrinkles in that area.

Repeat purchase

This has become part of my daily routine. It disappears into my skin with no greasiness and works well under makeup. I haven't had issues with it appearing orange, as another reviewer mentioned, but I can imagine that it could look ashy on darker skin tones.

Not for me sadly

This just isn’t suitable for medium and darker skin tones as it’s very ashy. Wanted to love it as it’s not a chemical sunscreen and provides protection from HEV/blue light radiation emitted from devices which few SPF’s do but I can’t deal with looking pallid.

Essential!

I love this product so much! I wear it every day, it goes on smoothly and primes and protects my skin. It sits well under make up and isn’t oily or greasy, and also doesn’t break out my skin which is a problem for me with many other SPFs. An absolute staple!

Amazing

I love it!!! I just got it last week but I already used it a few times and I usually hate the feeling of sunscreen on my face and I never wore it daily until now(which was a bad thing, but I never found one that I liked) and I can say it's really good. Usually, all the sunscreens I ever tried were greasy and I never liked the smell and they were causing me breakouts. This one hasn't caused any breakout and it keeps my skin really matte(my T-zone is extremely oily). It is thick, but it doesn't leave a white cast on my skin. The only downside is that I received the bottle with the dropper not with the pump and I always try to take care when I apply it that it doesn't spill everywhere, but it's really hard with the dropper, it goes everywhere. I know now they changed the package with a pump but I guess they still have some leftovers with the dropper. In any case, I would repurchase it but I would ask for the bottle with the pump!

Love this!

I’ve used a lot of SPF products and this is one of the best. It goes on smoothly, there’s no white cast (despite being a physical sunblock with zinc), and it’s gentle on my skin. I don’t mind the droppers but I’ve seen on the DECIM site that the new batch have pump tops so that’ll be interesting to try when I buy my next bottle!

Cosmetically elegant but makes me look orange

I would have loved to love this sunscreen. I am on the hunt for the perfect mineral sunscreen. This one is thin and goes on matte, silky, the texture is really so good I've never had a sunscreen that feels this good on the skin. That's why I was majorly disappointed to notice that this turns completely orange in my skin in about 15 minutes. I look like an orange, it is ridiculous. I have tried it with and without everything, at first, I thought it somehow makes my makeup oxidise but I also tested it without makeup and yup, it is the sunscreen only. The colour is so notable that covering it with makeup does not help at all either, you can tell there is a visible line on my chin that buffing does nothing to. I've had people ask me what's wrong with my face when I wore it. NIOD keep saying that the formula is untainted and the colour is from the ingredients but I really really wish made this without the orange turning ingredient, too! For reference, I am very light-skinned (MAC NC15) and someone with a different skin tone might not have this problem but if you are pale, beware. I usually don't have an enormous problem with the white cast and if I do, makeup is always enough to cover it anyway. But the colour makes this unusable for me, sadly.
