Embodying the spirit of wanderlust with each release, Nomad Noé’s candle range has no shortage of personality; whether it’s the clean-cut design (spoiler: the ceramic vessels glow when the candle is lit) or the compelling scents that pique your curiosity, this Manhattan-based brand will not disappoint. Drawing inspiration from a tapestry of life experiences, the Grasse-crafted fragrances are an ode to specific memories, moments and people. Plus, alongside their commitment to vegan formulas, this ultra-cool collection is proud to be plant-based and 100% cruelty-free.
The ultimate gift for a friend with their head in the clouds (or a book) at all times, Nomad Noé’s Dreamer in London evokes the quaint, rickety charm – not to mention, the colourful history – of our dizzying capital city.
Conjuring the magic of a cosy night – think: crackling fires, a toddy in hand and a lovingly thumbed book in your lap – this marries the smooth, smoky sweetness of cedar with comforting notes of vanilla and the tang of tobacco. Like old theatres (there’s more than a whisper of Wilton’s about it) or wood-panelled libraries, this captures all the character of London’s narrow alleys, tiny pubs and gentleman’s clubs – as well as Brits’ signature wit. With a burn time of c.55 hours, the hand-poured blend of apricot and coconut waxes burns cleanly and evenly – turning your living space into a quirky retreat as it flickers away on the mantel. And what’s more, the white ceramic vessel makes a perfect pot to put things in – from flowers to cotton rounds – long after the candle’s expired.
Blend of natural apricot and coconut waxes, hand-poured in the United States
100% cotton wick
Porcelain vessel and lid

TOP TIP: Minimise smoking by trimming wick after each use and make sure you burn the candle for a good hour the first time you light it, this keeps it burning evenly.

Poor throw for the price
I adore the scent of this candle; it’s warm, comforting and sophisticated. The problem is that the throw really isn’t great… it slightly improves and becomes stronger after the candle’s been burning for several hours, but I’m unimpressed for the price.

Smells divine
Looks great on a coffee table or a console, and leaves the room with the coziest scent. Would also recommend to gift it to a friend or someone you like. Love it

Luxurious & Warm
At first I thought maybe wasn't going to be for me and then I started burning it and changed my mind immediately! This smells and feels so luxurious it transformed my little apartment into something more sophisticated and warm, it felt like a recently updated London hotel with the perfect blend of tradition and modern luxury neighter fighting the other. The smell travels and is noticeable but it is not overbearing or too strong so works across small and big spaces. I remember I had this burning in my bathroom for a dinner party with my kitchen smelling of all the nice food and you walked through a door and my bathroom smelt inviting and luxurious! Stock up on this for yourself, for presents, for just in case!

Cosy!
This candle makes me feel warm and cosy and makes me want to snuggle up in front of the fire with a hot chocolate. I love the woody, slightly sweet combination of this candle. I always have this lit when sat at my desk as it keeps me calm and relaxed. Whilst it does fill the room, the scent is not overpowering. After a short while you will experience the full warm atmosphere that it brings to the room. Bonus points: I am obsessed with the actual component. It looks beautiful sat on my desk whether or not it is lit.

A beautiful candle
This is gorgeous. A super cosy, woody, creamy scent and the throw is excellent. It’s a great living room or bedroom scent. I’ll be buying another when it’s finished, for sure.

Sophisticated and modern
I was dubious about ordering this candle before smelling it in person but I’m so glad I went for it. The scent smells expensive and is sophisticated yet modern - woody and sexy. The throw is also very good and lasts a decent amount of time. Not quite as much as my recent Overose purchase (which has an insane throw and lasting power) but good nonetheless. Perfect for men and women. The design and packaging are also beautiful and luxurious, anyone would be thrilled to receive it as a gift.

Perfect candle for cozy winter nights
I tend to prefer floral smelling candles but I wanted something more woodsy and cozy for December. I’m really enjoying this candle filling my living room with a warm scent while all the Christmas decorations up. It is exactly as it’s description says and the throw is great. I will be trying Poet or Pioneer next.

Gorgeous packaging and fabulous smell
I first discovered this candle at Selfridges and despite the cost, I keep on going back to it. It is so unique. Even when it isn't burning you can smell it. The throw is very strong and lasts for a while. It smells fantastic, woody and cosy.
