Embodying the spirit of wanderlust with each release, Nomad Noé’s candle range has no shortage of personality; whether it’s the clean-cut design (spoiler: the ceramic vessels glow when the candle is lit) or the compelling scents that pique your curiosity, this Manhattan-based brand will not disappoint. Drawing inspiration from a tapestry of life experiences, the Grasse-crafted fragrances are an ode to specific memories, moments and people. Plus, alongside their commitment to vegan formulas, this ultra-cool collection is proud to be plant-based and 100% cruelty-free.
Evoking the hope – and the scope – of the edge of the earth, Nomad Noé’s Pioneer in Tasmania conjures the freedom of white sand, blue sea and the sway of the coconut palms on Australasian beaches.
Bringing that beautiful, unfettered holiday feeling to bedrooms (or bathrooms) wherever you are, this soul-soothing, mood-boosting medley of sea salt and coconut lets you imagine the sun on your skin and the wind in your hair as you hear the waves lap on the stunning, Tasmanian shore. Calming and centring, breathe in and slowly relinquish your woes as the scent fills your space with its summery spirit – think: bikini tops and denim cut-offs, bare feet and brightly coloured toenails (even if you’re swaddled in a blanket on the sofa). With a burn time of c.55 hours, the hand-poured blend of apricot and coconut waxes burns cleanly and evenly – turning your living space into a quirky retreat as it flickers away on the mantel. And what’s more, the white ceramic vessel makes a perfect pot to put things in – from flowers to cotton rounds – long after the candle’s expired.
Blend of natural apricot and coconut waxes, hand-poured in the United States
100% cotton wick
Porcelain vessel and lid

TOP TIP: Minimise smoking by trimming wick after each use and make sure you burn the candle for a good hour the first time you light it, this keeps it burning evenly.

Disappointed
Smells lovely but you have to stand right beside the candle in order to smell it. Would have expected the scent to at least fill the room for the price.

Like the scent, but...
This is a beautiful looking candle. I would say that the scent is far more fresh and sea-salt leaning rather than coconutty, but I do like it and the throw is pretty good. However, I have to tent this candle with a piece of aluminium foil to get it to burn to the edges every time I use it - I should not have to do this with a candle of this price.

This smell is DEVINE but very subtle once burning
When I first took a nice long smell of this I was immediately hooked and in love, it smelt so fresh, so good, so Devine. However, it was way more subtle which is great if you just want a hint of fragrance but I do wish it was a little stronger so that I could pick up the wonderful notes when burning as well.

Smells amazing !!
Fresh and clean. Gives you a feeling of being at the ocean. Not an overwhelming ocean scent, but rather soft and calming. I highly recommend this candle for anyone looking for the scent of a lovely sea breeze.
