An ingenious primer and highlighter in one, Born To Glow Illuminating Primer is the perfect solution for dull or ashy complexions, creating a smooth canvas for foundation, whilst delivering an exquisite natural-looking glow in the bargain. This does everything a primer would normally do i.e. create a perfect base for foundation, helping it to stay put and reducing a shiny complexion. But it also has a secret weapon in the form of bestowing a radiant glow and perking up a tired, sunken complexion in minutes. Worn under foundation, it will imbue your skin with a gorgeous post-facial flush that looks totally natural – you may not even need to follow it up with blusher or highlighter.

Best primer I’ve used
I have mature skin, 55yrs old and it can be dry and make up can look cakey. This primer gives a slight moisturising effect and a lovely dewy glow to your skin , not too matte as that can make older skin look dull. This is Perfect . Obviously it helps keep make up applied over it in place for longer too.

Worst primer!
This primer calls itself “born to glow,” except it never glows! I've used other cheaper and more expensive brands which actually do what they say but I avoid wearing this primer! At best this primer will keep your makeup on for most of the day (but not all day) and it gives my foundation a dull complex! It does not give any kind of glow what so ever - quite the opposite. I also bought the ordinary primer alongside this which is a lot cheaper and actually gives a much better result!

Not impressed...
I have oily skin so I need quite a bit of help from my primer to keep my makeup in place throughout the day. Unfortunately this primer didn't do it for me - it does leave my foundation with a beautiful pearly finish, but only for a while.... Would probably work better as a subtle highlighter over foundation. Would not repurchase.

Not satisfied with this product.
This product doesn't really do much for me. First of all, I hate the texture, it doesn't feel like a primer at all. My makeup looked awful after a few hours at the office, and overall it looks way too pearlescent and white, and this coming from a pale white woman. On the other hand, I used it over my finished look as a highlighter and it looked amazing, so I'll add a star for that. I would not buy it again, and I don't recommend it to anyone.

Nice primer.
I love this primer, it helped many foundations. I only took 1 star off as I found it a little too pearlescent on my skin, - but I probably would buy it again!

Best primer I’ve used
I’ve tried 15-20 primers from samples and borrowing friend’s primers and this is my favourite. It’s not sticky, it’s pearly white and soaks into skin well. I use it under Estée Lauder Double Wear. I’m not oily all day, but doesn’t make my nose look flakey after applying powder which some primers can. Perfect balance of moisturising, making make up stick and stopping oiliness.

Best primer I’ve tried in years
I use this primer with my Estée Lauder Stay Perfect foundation, which is very opaque and matte. This beautiful pearlescent primer gives me a lovely glow even under that thick foundation and keeps me looking fresh all day, even in a heatwave. It’s the best I’ve tried in years - better than Benefit, Balance Me and even Smashbox.

For multi use
At first, when I just got it I thought I would hate it as it is very sticky but then I discovered it works well with my YSL all hours foundation and works amazing for priming my eyes. It makes any metallic or sparkly eye shadow more look more pigmented and more metallic. It also looks nice as a liquid highlighter and you can use it for applying glitter. I cant imagine not having it in my makeup bag now.
