Bizarrely good for the price
Incredibly dense and soft, doesn't leave streaks, and I've found personally that it washes well by hand with brush cleaner and a plastic utensil to rub it against. If I'm using a brush to buff in foundation, I find I now reach for the NYX over more expensive ones because it quite simply gives a better finish, so I now have three NYXs. Honestly, I'm astonished that such a great quality brush can be so cheap.

Perfect foundation brush
So dense there are no streaks left behind, it blends the foundation into your skin beautifully, all I could do was order another 😊 It is comfortable and looks quite resistant, mine have been going for over 2 years.

Lasted about 3 months
This brush seemed fine at first, nothing amazing, but it got the job done applying foundation (actually tinted moisturiser) without streaks. I did, however, have a very difficult time cleaning it. I like to clean my brushes after every use (which is why I bought this, to alternate with another brush whilst one was air-drying) and use a centrifuge style electric cleaner with a makeup brush cleansing gel, which works brilliantly on all my other brushes (which are a full set of Zoeva brushes). However, with this brush, it simply wouldn't get clean. I would end up trying to wash it by hand, massaging in the cleansing gel, even leaving it to soak in warm water, sometimes overnight. Still would find that upon drying with a soft cloth there would be a lot of makeup residue left. In addition to this problem, I noticed that from almost the first use the brush would shed fibres. Eventually it had a very obvious 'dip' in the centre of the brush where the fibres had been coming out, and it was easy to pull out more with a light tug! After less than 3 months the brush was unusable, it had shed so much it was practically a stippling brush! I'm now using the foundation buffer brush from my Zoeva collection, and don't know why I didn't use it before, the quality difference is like night and day, it takes no effort to clean and is dry within a few hours, there's no shedding despite daily use. I highly recommend you save your money and invest in a good quality brush instead of going for a cheap option like this one, I thought it would be fine as a basic tool but unless you're willing to deal with a constantly grubby brush which leaves fibres stuck in your foundation and needs replacing every several weeks, spend your money on a decent brush - this is definitely an instance where you get what you pay for!
