Prevent your shadows from smudging and keep your liner in line with Proof It! Waterproof Eye Shadow Primer. Eye make-up is tricky enough to master without it slipping and sliding all over the place, so this stay-put, crease-proof primer has been specially designed for the delicate eye area. It won’t just keep an intricate smoky eye in place, but will also ensure your undereye concealer doesn’t slip off either. It’s a lifesaver if you’re a fan of a smoky eye or a 60s liner flick.
If you don’t tend to wear foundation or heavy base make up, but are a fan of a statement eye, why not opt for a primer specifically for the eye area. It will minimise the risk of creasing and smudging, plus it’s waterproof so it will be resistant to sweat, tears and humidity too. A lifesaver in the summer or if you’re prone to oily skin – this really is a make up bag essential.

Disappointing
Very affordable, but you get what you pay for here. It doesn’t last for that long and I find it leads to my eyeshadow flaking off. Better quality primers are the Urban Decay one (the classic!) or the Nars.

Eyeshadow primer
I've used this a couple of times and have not seen a difference in my makeup when using this, there are better ones out there.

Too sticky
I know an eye shadow primer is meant to be sticky/tacky to an extent, but I find this primer far too sticky to the point the eyeshadows don’t really blend that well and I’ve tried both high end and lower priced eye shadow with it, so it’s not the eyeshadow. I’ve also tried to set it a bit with a powder but then the pigment doesn’t seem to show up very well. The too faced primer is a lot better even though it’s more expensive price wise but I find it a lot easier to blend my eyeshadows with and would rather spend more money if I know it’s going to be a better quality product would recommend it over this one.

Not for me
This product isn't bad, it just doesn't work for me. My eyelids are so creasy and hooded that this doesn't prevent my eyeshadow from creasing. It does make the eyeshadow not crease as fast as it would with out any primer but I prefer UD primer potion that holds my eyeahadow all day long.

Not the best
I have slightly hooded eyes and my eyeshadow always creases at the end of the day with this base. It applies easily, does the job but for no more than 5-6 hours. If you want your look to last throughout a whole working day plus the time you travel to and back from work, definitely consider something else.

Dupe for Urban Decay eyeshadow primer
I have hooded eyes and greasy eyelids (gross, I know) and this is my holy grail. I cleanse, then cleanse again with micellar water and ALLOW THE AREA TO DRY. I apply this product and LET IT DRY. I then add face powder to the area or skin toned eyeshadow as a base for everything else. Stays put ALL day. Great price too!

Good for the price
Overall a good eye primer and definitely considering how affordable it is. Pros: easy to apply, blends nicely across the lid and doesn't leave untouched spots. Cons: light eyeshadows do crease a little with time and on some days this primer leaves my lids feeling a bit papery? Like weirdly unpleasantly dry, even though my lids are naturally on the oilier side.

Hmm
My eyes water in the summer, winter, when I wake up, when I go to sleep. It's soooooo annoying! So I tried this product and just felt it was a bit... meh. My eye makeup creased (I use Violet Voss all the time and it never creases) and I just really don't think it did anything for me.

This stuff is a MUST
I have sensitive eyes that water profusely in hay fever season. It's so frustrating when I apply my eye makeup beautifully in the morning and by midday it's all been washed away. Also my under eyes dry out from the constant contact with tears and become red. So I decided to try this and it's amazing. It really locks your eye makeup and concealer in place. And because my eye cream and concealer is no longer being washed away my skin is not becoming dry and red. It also has another added benefit if like me you are in your forties. It visibly tightens and firms the eye area! There's only one downside which I can live with. Because it's so good at adhering the makeup it makes blending your shadow more difficult and I had to blend a lot with my fingers as the brush wouldn't suffice even when I set it with powder. But once you apply this your eye makeup won't budge and no amount of tears will wash it away. My new staple product and such good value. Very happy.
