Dispense product into hands and emulsify. A little goes a long way. For those with thin hair, we recommend starting with a small quantity. Apply to wet hair, focusing on the scalp and working through to ends. Rinse well.

Definitely lives up to the hype!
I got bought the holiday gift set for last Christmas and now I can't use any other shampoo set than no 4&5! Leaves my hair feeling really smooth and smells so nice. Don't use much as it lathers up really well. I use the shampoo twice and conditioner once and it lasts for a while. I'm on my second set of bundle and they should last almost 4-5 months depends on how many times they're used a week.

Greasy Roots
I wanted to love this product, as I’d read such good things, but it wasn’t for me! I was left with really dull looking hair, and greasy roots (I’m blonde naturally, and was left a really dirty blonde after using this shampoo).

Not for me
Due to hard water my blonde ends and highlights always tend to get yellow. I’ve used a variety of purple shampoos from other brand on Cult Beauty and there are some really good ones. However, this one is not it. It made my hair so frizzy and I barely see any result (e.g. cooling of the tone). I haven’t used it during the last two washes and the hair is still super frizzy. I’m not sure what it has done to my hair, but it wasn’t good

Great product but be careful!
Absolutely love this. It’s definitely made such a difference to my hair and really brought out the brassiness that I’ve had in it! Just be careful though, as it stains your hands. They do say to use gloves with it but who’s got time for putting gloves on. But if it does happen, just make sure you scrub them in the shower with an exfoliating mitt, it comes right off!

Not for me
I used this for the first time last night but never again. My hands are an intense purple and my hair now looks dull with grey ashy tones, it also looks frizzy whereas the condition looked fine before I used the shampoo due to having a keratin treatment at the end of July. I wish I’d never tried this.

The best purple shampoo I’ve tried!
And I’ve tried loads! Pretty much every other brand has left me with purple streaks in my hair if I let the shampoo sit for longer than a minute, and doesn’t do much to counteract the brassiness I tend to notice at my roots. I used this today, left it for 5 minutes before rinsing, and not a purple streak in sight! Just a nice, bright blonde, roots included! Super impressed. This one is worth the price in my opinion. I’ll definitely be repurchasing!

The best!
This is the best toning shampoo I have ever used. A little goes a long way so the bottle will last for a good while. I shampooed my bleach lightened hair with Olaplex no.4 shampoo first and then used this and shampooed it in for around about a minute and rinsed straight out. Could be left in for a few minutes depending on the result you want but it does take quickly. I used after leaving no.0 & no.3 on overnight and no.8 as a conditioner and my hair looked and felt the like I'd just been to the salon! I'm in love with Olaplex!

Absolutely love the combo of the shampoo + conditioner
I cannot say enough good things about the duo, shampoo + conditioner! Finally, a shampoo that lathers well and really cleans my hair. It leaves my hair soft and shiny. Plus, you need the tiniest amount so it will last me a long time!

Olaplex No 4
Best shampoo for my fine, coloured hair. Bit pricey but well worth it. A little goes a long way.
