Founded in 2014 by Dean Christal, OLAPLEX has changed the landscape of the hair care industry. After employing two chemists to find a chemical that wouldn't damage dyed tresses, the team formulated the brand's proprietary, patented Bond Building Technology. A case in point is the No. 5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner (250ml), a highly concentrated reparative treat for your hair that hydrates and nourishes your strands without adding excess weight.
Want to know the secret to healthier-looking locks? Cue OLAPLEX's No. 5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner (250ml).
With a creamy texture that feels divine, this gentle, colour-safe hero deeply hydrates, moisturises and nourishes your mane. Powered by the brand's patented Bond Building Technology, it rebuilds the damaged bonds in your hair. Confused? Let us explain; in short, it works to strengthen tresses, prevent breakage and repair split ends. The result? This strand saviour leaves your hair looking healthier, smoother, softer and shinier. We're obtressed.

Overrated
Honestly I found this to be overrated. A lot of drug store conditioners do the same. I personally would not repurchase as it did not improve my hair quality and texture at all. I have thick dark hair that has been bleached and has highlights.

Nice
Nice enough conditioner. Don’t know what I was expecting but I didn’t find it as good as other products in the range. Nothing spectacular

Olaplex
Hmm don’t think this is worth the money at all. It made my hair really greasy and I wouldn’t buy again.

Better
Better than the shampoo if your hair is not super damaged but you really don’t need to buy this unless it is - Redken would be better than this!

Best thing for blondes
Mixing this with a moisturising conditioner has made my hair come back to life after 7 years of bleach

Unsure
Really unsure on this one… I guess it depends what you’re looking for in a conditioner. But it doesn’t make your hair feel smooth and limited scent

Least favourite product from olaplex.
Probably this the least favourite product from olaplex. And least favourite expensive conditioner that i have ever tried. If their is any product that i wouldn't recommend from olaplex, that will be this one.

Holy grail
I started using olaplex a few years ago and have never turned back since. This conditioner is not too oily but it really makes my hair silky and soft without weighing it down or giving it a greasy look. Highly recommended!
