Very surprised
I've always skipped Olaplex, having afro-textured hair, I just didn't think it would work for me. After taking my faux locs out, my hair was thirsty and dry, this was like a quick drink for my hair and instantly hydrated my hair. My hair instantly felt softer and ready for my next installation of faux locs. The silicones personally don't bother me, as I'm not a girl who subscribes to the silicones and sulphates are bad for you're coils and kinks

Amazing ... BUT
This is a beautiful mask and I used this after conditioner for a long deep conditioning session for my very thirsty 3A/B curls that felt and looked amazing. However, this is an expensive mask with the second ingredient being dimethicone, this is a much smaller molecule of silicone and a water-soluble form that is less likely to buildup in the hair. As a curly guy (and not every textured hair type will be so) my hair over time does hate too much silicone but I do want to try the full size of this mask and see the effect overtime on the curls ... so just be wary any of my silicone sensitive hair friends.

Silky and frizz free
I would be lying if I told you I wasn't impressed with this product, my hair was left so hydrated with almost no frizz, when I tell you my hair is frizz-prone I am not joking! All in all, this is lovely moisture boast to add to your hair routine, my only downside to it is this contains silicone and I try to stay as far away from silicone as possible.

Alright.. damn
I'm a huge Olaplex fan and have used No. 3 for years. When reading the description and ingredient list for this there was a few no's for me. Putting it onto clean hair and chill for 10 minutes, not my vibe.. but, I just used it whenever I had one of *those* showers (exfoliate, shave, hair wash) and it was really easy! My second was the silicones in it.. but on further research and training, I learnt that the silicones in this formulation are water-soluble meaning that as soon as water hits the hair the silicone slides off - WIN! It left my hair feeling so soft and nourished and I was hair flicking the whole day.

So, I don't have bleached hair but I am suffering with 'lockdown locks' - seriously damaged and dry ends! I used this overnight, and when I washed my hair the next morning, I was STUNNED! No knots, hydrated ends, soft and silky smooth hair. With no other products, my hair was shiny and had such lush 'swish'. Yes please Olaplex, this is a part of my weekly masking routine for sure!

Faced with at least four months of no trim and colour I have set out to make my hair the healthiest it can be, if the Greys are going to show, I wanted to make sure they were glistening! An Olaplex routine has been integral to this, I've fallen in love with no.0 which has amplified the effect of no.3 (which in all honesty I didn't love prior to using it in tandem) but the new no.8 is now my weekly go-to. It hydrates without weighing my fine hair down and makes a quick ten-minute rough blow dry so glossy that it looks like I've been in a salon chair for hours - result!

You need this if you have thirsty hair!
One try was all it took for me to fall head over heels for this incredible formula! I have thick bleached curly hair that I love to traumatise by often changing my hair colour and that's why I already use No 3 in my regime to repair the broken bonds in my hair. On the other hand, No 8 is a deeply hydrating and repairing mask, that instantly revives my dry tired strands with a single-use. The ingredient list is absolutely incredible featuring Avocado and Hemp Seed Oil, Rose Hip, Ceramides, Jojoba, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium PCA, Panthenol and Squalane. Of course, it also contains bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate to repair damage. This is truly the answer to my prayer and if your hair is thirsty it will also be the answer to yours!

A staple in my routine!
This is by far my favourite OLAPLEX product to date! My hair is prone to dryness so I was expecting a nice boost of moisture with this. However, it exceeded my expectations! My hair looked and felt so much better for days after using this. I noticed a big difference in styling instantly after too! I've personally been using this after my conditioner once a week and it has become a staple in my routine - definitely on my repurchase list! For reference, I have thick, curly hair (4b/4c)
