If that wasn't enough, this purple shampoo is also enriched with brand's patented Bond Building Technology, which works to transform dry, brittle strands into a soft, visibly shiny finish. Distribute evenly between palms first. Apply to wet hair and lather fully. Leave on for 1-3 minutes. (For more intense toning, leave on up to 5 minutes.) Rinse well and condition.

Be careful of purple hair
I have white/silver grey hair. It’s an excellent shampoo but, leave it on too long, or use it too often and I have lilac purple hair!. The reason for 4* rating I love it but can’t use it too often as I don’t want purple hair, so I’ll have to buy the non-purple shampoo for the times I don’t use it.

Scalp issues
I absolutely love what this did to my actual hair the day I washed it but oh my goodness the scalp irritation I experienced is dreadful and takes over 2 weeks to heal. Crawling itching, then sore raised spots on my scalp and back of neck where my hair touches. I’ be tried it twice and can’t risk it again. My scalp is pretty good normally

Really does tone the brassiness down
This really does tone any brassy tones down in bleached blonde hair but i agree with other reviewers who said it doesn't lather much and doesn't seem to add much to the hair other than to act as a toner. I wouldn't use for every shampoo but maybe 1 in every 3? Although it is olaplex I am unsure of what is particularly special about it in relation to the olaplex system but in general I do rate olaplex products and there is no doubt that this does get rid of any brassiness.

Best hair product ever bought
I thought about this for a while before buying as it’s expensive and I’ve wasted a lot of money in the past but this was well worth it. A little goes a long way and my hair is amazing. No need for straighteners as this smoothes out the frizzies and leaves my hair like I’ve just walked out of the salon every day. I love it and will never buy anything else. If your thinking about it, go for it!

I maybe should have done this but nothing soap and water couldn’t fix! My hair isn’t looking brassy either and feels very soft after using the combo of all 3.

Amazing results
I’ve got very thick, dry, wavy hair. I’ve used this and my hair is unbelievably shiny and feels amazing. I left the purple shampoo on for over 5 minutes and it’s taken the brass out of my roots but it didn’t go as light as I was expecting. Only issue is the staining, didn’t stain anything I own but my palms and nails have gone a bit purple and it hasn’t scrubbed off.

I only used this shampoo once and it stained my hair horribly. It gave it a green-ish tone and purple stains. It does stain your hands easily so make sure to wash them properly. Unfortunately after only one use, I have disposed of it in the rubbish and won’t buying it again. Just not for me..
