Good but quite drying
For me, this definitely gives a good deep clean however I did find it quite drying so I don’t use too often. Nothing a good hair mask can’t fix though!

Until I notice it makes my hair get really greasy by the evening (I usually wash my hair in the morning). I love the smell and the feeling of a super clean scalp that this shampoo gives you, but after using it for about a year I noticed how quickly my hair would turn greasy. I used to LOVE this Ouai Detox shampoo and have been using it for over two years now. I think I overdid it. My hair started to become greasy already (!) towards the evening - and I wash my hair in the mornings. I started to use the Ouai Detox shampoo even more frequently hoping this would help with the greasy hair. It did not. I stopped using Ouai Detox shampoo and within two weeks the condition of the scalp improved dramatically. The hair stays clean and fresh for longer! This is my personal experience and I think I just overdid it with detoxing. You are supposed to use this detox shampoo once a week and I used it more frequently and maybe that distabilised the skin. Use with caution!
