Lightweight but drying
This is lightweight but I find my hair gets dirtier quickly, I also find my hair looks shiny but it feels a little dry.

Really good volume
I had a small sample of this and bought the full size recently. It really does give great volume to fine hair. Even my partner said how voluminous my locks were. Usually nothing works without looking greasy. I use with the Revlon One Step hair drying brush for fantastic bouffiness

The hype is lost on me.
To start with the positives I find this shampoo lasts a long time and smells nice. It’s pleasant to use, lathers up nicely and doesn’t weigh my hair down. However I can say that about shampoos which are much more affordable that also offer extra benefits such leaving my hair smooth and soft. This feels like a generic shampoo but with a luxury price tag.

3 months of use - Meh
For the price I am disappointed, I have been using this twice weekly for nearly 4 months and yes my hair is soft and shiny after use but no real difference from much cheaper products. The smell is strong, I like the scent but it does linger for days after use and if you don't like the smell I could see that being a problem. I will not be repurchasing, I cannot see what this has done for my hair in the long term and cannot justify the price when it seems to be a bog standard albeit very fragranced shampoo/conditioner. The product has lasted very well and I still have some left even after 3 months and I have medium long hair.

Great quality
I decided to try Ouai after another brand of shampoo ruined my hair. I ordered the fine hair shampoo and conditioner and was really impressed. It made my hair look and feel much healthier, I also found the smell to be normal as some reviews stated it had a “perfumey” smell which I didn’t find. My only complaint is that, if I use more than a coin sized amount of the conditioner I find it leaves a film on my hair. The conditioner sometimes feels like it isn’t fully washed out even after rinsing for a few minutes.
