Formulated with curly and textured locks in mind, the Thick Hair Shampoo (300ml) helps hair to appear smooth, shiny and full of bounce.
A moisturising duo of shea butter and avocado oil takes care of thirsty tresses, while marshmallow root helps to detangle and smooth. There's more where that came from too; hydrolysed keratin completes this luxurious blend by working to strengthen dry and damaged strands. Infused with the brand's beloved Mercer Street fragrance, it's bursting with juicy notes of citrus, peony, magnolia, jasmine and musk, which makes this shampoo a real scentsation; what else would you expect from OUAI?

Great but for the smell
This is a really good shampoo, it’s almost as clarifying as a Sunday shampoo and hair feels lovely and soft when paired with the conditioner. It works for my thick hair! Only downside is the fragrance.

Soft, shiny and lovely smelling hair
If it is tough to make your hair shiny and soft, this shampoo might help you just as it helped me. My long, grey and thus colored hair has a tendency to look dry. If I want it to look sleek it takes some time with a good brush and a hairdryer. This shampoo (+conditioner) I love. My hair looks like from a stylist. And the smell is incredible.

Not for Sensitive scalps...
I bought this shampoo after hearing raving reviews. I agree with other customers that this smells amazing. But after about a month of using it, I have noticed that my scalp is considerably itchier. I have quite oily hair anyways but because it's very long (mid/lower back) and thick I try to go 2-3 days without washing it as it takes forever. But by day 3 this shampoo has made my scalp unbearably itchy to the point of serious discomfort. I have also been getting breakouts near my hairline from where this shampoo touches my skin. I'm really disappointed as I was hoping this would be a great shampoo for my thick long hair. Considering that there's another review on here saying this shampoo made her scalp break out, I would leave this shampoo alone if you have sensitive skin.

Shampoo and conditioner for thick hair
Absolutely LOVE this range. Smells incredible. After a few uses, my hair is so soft and looks so shiny. Was worried it might make my hair greasy as I was torn between the medium hair range, but you don’t need loads so it was the right choice.

I hate the packaging.
OK, yes I like it, but I think I'm trying to convince myself. It is pricey so I was expecting more. The scent is nice, but now I'm halfway through the bottle (mainly because I use a lot because I need to wash 3 times to break down the oils and get a good lather) I cannot tell you just how much I hate the packaging, I can't get the stuff out of the freaking bottle. My hair stays fresh for a couple of days before I need to wash again. I am producing oilier hair as a result of using this. The conditioner however is my best friend even though I hate the packaging I will continue to purchase. My hair is shinier, I can get a brush through it, it seems less course and I'm happy with the results minus the oil.

Amazing!
Only around halfway through my first bottles of this shampoo and conditioner and I love it! It lasts forever so I don't even mind the slightly bigger price tag. My hair has never looked so shiny and healthy and frizz free. About to order my refills, couldn't recommend more!

Amazing!
I can't rate this range highly enough. I was hesitant initially as I normally switch between Tresemme, Aussie and Herbal Essences and this is considerably pricier - but the results speak for themselves. I have naturally frizzy, unruly hair and this has made it smoother and sleeker within two or three uses. I won't use anything else now. Plus it smells good and a little goes a very long way.
