Formulated with rice protein and coconut water rather than salt, this ultra-fine mist is the secret to loose, beachy waves without stiffness or crunch. Enriched with OUAI's signature Smart Technology, a cocktail of amino acids, tamarind seed, keratin, ama oil, hibiscus and jasmine, this spray tames as it tousles for beautiful bounce. As if that wasn't enough, an infusion of the beloved North Bondi fragrance means that zesty notes of bergamot, Italian lemon and rose de mai will follow you long after your final spritz.

It worked great for me!
I bought this along with the volume spray and I really enjoy them, however, I think these would work a little better if you blow-dry your hair, I like to air dry my hair for less heat damage but I’ve noticed a lot of the Ouai range is more tailored to heat styling alongside using the products, but it still gave me a subtle wave in my hair which was really nice, I wasn’t a big fan on the smell though, I was expecting something really fruity and floral but it’s more of a scent you would find in hand cream, not off-putting but not my favourite. My boyfriend said my hair smells good however so I’m trusting his opinion it doesn’t smell bad. I do have a slight kink in my hair anyway so I think if your hair is pin straight you may need some rollers to give a little more of a wave, but really great product and does exactly what it says!

I have natural wavy hair so this product enhances a bit the natural curl. However, the texture is quite sticky and I don't really like this.

I've never used a wave spray before, but I loved this! I have really long (but thinning) medium hair that I air dry. When I use this spray it just adds a bit of definition to my natural waves and leaves it looking naturally lovely with very little effort.

I have thick straight hair and feel obliged to say that what it says in the description, is not exactly the case. To me, from ‘damp to beachy’ isn’t bridged by this spray. However, if you style your hair prior, it does promise a good hold and no stiffness throughout the day! Only thing I dislike is the smell which is a bit retro, too sweet to my taste.

Ouai Wave spray travel size
I love how this product smells, it smells so so good, luxurious. As for the waves, they last very well, it doesn't feel heavy and it stays as you set it. My hair has very fine and thin locks, it's long and easily breaks, but this product holds it in place and gives it more volume. I like it a lot

It's OK
Bought the travel size to try out. It's ok, my hair is already curly so it wasn't life changing. I just wanted some texture and got ok results with this. It's kind of sticky, and the smell is very strong. I get why some people like it but it clashed with my perfume and smells a bit too "old lady" for my taste.
