Formulated with rice protein and coconut water rather than salt, this ultra-fine mist is the secret to loose, beachy waves without stiffness or crunch. Enriched with OUAI's signature Smart Technology, a cocktail of amino acids, tamarind seed, keratin, ama oil, hibiscus and jasmine, this spray tames as it tousles for beautiful bounce. As if that wasn't enough, an infusion of the beloved North Bondi fragrance means that zesty notes of bergamot, Italian lemon and rose de mai will follow you long after your final spritz.

Not worthwhile
Extremely expensive for what it is. It is very sticky and hard to work with. I was very disappointed!

love it! BUT
I stumbled upon Julia's 5-star review, and I totally agree with everything. I have a super sensitive scalp, so I hate hate hate every heat treatment I do on my hair, but my natural waves are just so square and messy. I just spray a little of this on them and put my hair in a bun and ta-daa - PERFECT beach waves. On day one, and tow and three and even after days of dry shampoo (I'm weird, I know). love it, really! HOWEVER, and I realize I'm alone in this, but I have very sensitive nose - I wish they'd make one without perfume. Don't get me wrong - I love the scent and have gotten many compliments on it, I just don't like scented stuff generally. So if OUAI care to make a perfume-free one I would do as Julia says and offer them my firstborn in exchange. Totes.

Strong fragrance lets it down...
Glad I only ordered the mini - seems fine as a wave spray, but the scent is overpoweringly floral and made me feel queasy.

Utterly overpowering smell
Can't understand that none of the reviews have picked up that the smell is so overpoweringly strong and unnatural - you could not wear perfume with this for example. I did not get to whether or not it provided natural beachy waves as I nearly choked!

Not what I expected
I really wanted to like this product. From the reviews, it sounded perfect for my thin/somewhat wavy hair. I found it to be extremely sticky and drying. To be honest, looking at the hair, it wasn’t bad. I had some added movement and volume. Once you touched it though, ugh... The only good thing is the smell. I tried using it several times but every time I tried, I would find myself combing my hair at the end of the day or after a few hours to get the product off. I think from now I'll be using it as a texture spray on my third day curled hair.

Must have
After I finished Volume Spray I decided to finally try this and I like this WAY better, I find it actually gives me more volume with less effort (also, Volume Spray kind of made my hair greasy faster, this doesn't do that), as well as texture and some light hold for my straight, fine hair. Been using it since October, still have a bit left, I'll definitely repurchase.
