The velvet-textured Crème Foundation uses a flexible polymer blend and glow-enhancing emollients to reveal a lit-from-within luminosity in a spectrum of shades for all skin tones. Then apply the Finishing Powder, an airy, translucent formula that sets, softens and diffuses to minimise the appearance of pores, blemishes and fine lines. I've never considered a compact foundation before as I have mature dry'ish skin, but after seeing positive reviews I thought I would give it a go. I'm fair with freckles and chose Fair4 after checking on Patrick Ta's website. It's a bit darker than my neck but I still like it. It goes on easily with a brush and blends lovely, not thick at all but you can build it up and it's not drying. The powder is very fine, and I like that you don't have to carry 2 items around.

I so wanted to love this product and I know many people love it but I'm sad to say I really didnt like this foundation. I tried applying with a sponge as well as a brush and tried a few different primers/moisturisers but nope, I can't make it look nice on my skin which is a big shame. The powder isn't that bad but it didn't really 'wow' me either. But I'd still recommend this product as it's loved by many and it could work for you :)

My favourite foundation!
This has become my new favourite foundation. At first I wasn't sure about it, it looked nice but I wasn't wowed. But after continuous use I have fallen in love! It just looks like my own natural skin, but perfected. It's not too glowy, not too matte, just perfectly natural! And it just looks better and better on my skin throughout the day, which I have never found with any other foundation before!

I wish they come out with this powder separately as it’s so blurring and light weight on the skin. I love the powder way more than the foundation. The powder is amazing for dry to all skin types but the foundation not so much.
