I have been using the Paula's Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant for about 6 months now and I am really happy with the results. I have combination skin that is prone to dryness but also blocked pores - this product has really helped to clear my skin up. I use the exfoliant on alternate nights to my retinol, and I always follow it with a moisturizer. I find that it doesn't irritate my skin, even when I use it more frequently. Works well but you have to be extremely careful
I bought this product to help my skin look more glowy and reduce pores and I already had experience with actives in my skincare. It says on the bottle to use every morning and afternoon, which I personally think is very misleading. I understand people's skins react differently, but it still felt too much to me so I used it at night only. The first day my skin was glowing, I really liked how it made my skin look. However after the 3rd day of using it it completely damaged my skin barrier. I now use it once every two weeks very sparingly and it does wonders, but it took so long for my skin to recover the first time that I really think the instructions can be harmful
