Absolutely recommended

This is an active product that works! It literally eats out pores. I use it as needed, which is once a week at most and usually once a fortnight (and only where I need it - across the nose). It lasts for ages. My husband was really astonished. He could see the visible difference of clogged pores and empty pores. He’ll have to buy the next pot.

Holy Grail but it is a peel not a mask.

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I honestly have a bit of a skin care addiction and have tried everything from Tata Harper to Sunday Riley to Summer Fridays and I have never found anything as good as this. The peel is intense and you can definitely feel a burn but leave it on for 7 minutes (started with 4 to make sure it didn't irritate my skin and worked my way up) and honestly it feels like you have a new face. Make sure to follow up with an intense serum as this is a peel and the new layer of skin needs hydration and protection. Also, I make it a point to only use it at night as I do have sensitive/photosensitive skin.

It's good

4 stars out of a maximum of 5

Out of all the PTR masks, this is the only one I saw results with. I have really sensitive, combination, acne prone skin and I was afraid it would be too abrasive on my skin that it wasn't. It really stings like nobody's business when I first put it on, thankfully it stops after a minute or 2. Just to be on the safe side, I only use it once a week or only when I feel like my skin is congested and breaking out.

Best Mask EVER

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

This is literally the best mask I have ever used. It has completely resurfaced my skin leaving it baby smooth and has been fab at reducing my acne scars. It is NOT for sensitive skin it does burn a little on first application but it fades after a couple minutes and I also don't have any redness after using it. Worth absolutely every penny.

Nothing special

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I had such high expectations for this one. Most reviews mentioned a tingling sensation which i didn't even feel. It was a little exfoliating but didn't do much to my skin. It does smell like Christmas though, which I liked. But apart from the scent, didn't like much about it.

Nice

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

Many say this is a dupe for GlamGlow YouthMud, which is my holy grail. The PTR mask is nice but it didn't make a huge difference on my skin. This smells like dried prunes\apricots and there are granules inside. I have sensitive skin and this mask burnt my skin and irritated it. I've used abrasive masks before but something about this wasn't worth being harsh on the skin because it didn't produce amazing results. Also, I don't know if it was my reaction but the mask really heated up on my face. Another thing, it turned a bit crusty and dried out even though I made sure to keep it sealed and clean.

For the "T"

On my combo skin I find this gingerbread smelling mask excellent for "the T", but way to harsh for my cheeks. in conclusion: if you need a good peel - then this is perfect :)

Best mask for acne scars

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I'm not usually the type to leave reviews, but this has done wonders to my skin, I'm 21 years old and have been suffering with acne on and off and have quite a lot of hyper-pigmentation. I've been using this for a month now and this has done wonders to my skin, it has cleared out most of my acne scars and has made my skin texture even and smooth. I practically don't get as many breakouts and my foundation goes on so smoothly. For best results I would recommend doing this mask then next day let your skin breath without any makeup on whatsoever. You'll see way better result trust me. However as a disclaimer it does not help with calming down any breakouts it is only good for clearing up whats after that.

Amazing

5 stars out of a maximum of 5

I've finished an entire jar of this stuff and I'm ready to order another. I use this mask once a week and when I wake up the next day, my skin is smoother and and brighter looking. The jar lasted me a whole year with weekly usage, so I think that this it's priced fairly. My skin is usually sensitive, but it doesn't react negatively at all to this product. It does sting for about 30 seconds when I first put it on, but it's not bad and fades quickly. Love it.

Burned my face

2 stars out of a maximum of 5

I used this mask only twice. The first time everything was fine, my skin was left smooth and kind of resurfaced. The second time was a nightmare though. I have no idea what have gone wrong as I've done exactly the same as I was doing the first time, but it burned my face. When I washed it off I was left with flushed cheeks and a general "hot" feeling on my face. I put some moisturiser on and went to sleep. What I woke up to the next day was a nightmare. My face was very rough and I had a burning feeling. It has also changed colour slightly and became darker. I applied TONS of moisturiser every day for a week and avoided any products with acid/peeling etc. Got my usual skin back after using a mild face scrub (not a chemical one). After this experience I won't be using this mask again which is a shame considering it's cost. Have chemical peels done by professionals, people!
