Water-based and fragrance-free, this clear formula provides immediate and long-lasting relief from flaking and itchy scalps. With continued use alongside the wider Flaky/Itchy Scalp range, this prevents the recurrence of flakes and build-up of dead skill cells due to its anti-microbial and anti-flaking formula. Simply apply to damp, freshly washed hair and work into the scalp with fingertips. There’s no need to rinse, simply let this leave-in product do the hard work for you.

Apply to freshly washed, damp hair. Apply to the scalp from nozzle in 1" (3cm) sections (tip head back when applying to avoid product running into eyes). Distribute with fingertips. Do not rinse. Use cotton buds to apply to difficult to reach sensitive areas of the scalp. Can also be applied to dry hair to refresh.

Fixed my dry scalp!
When I was last at the hairdresser a couple months ago, he mentioned my scalp was looking a bit dry and irritated! This is unusual for me, so I looked into some treatments and gave this a go, using it every time I washed until the bottle ran out. (twice a week) It has a nice soothing feeling, and next time I went to the hairdresser, they said my scalp was looking great!

Couldn’t find anything to help my dry scalp but this is changed everything. You only need a small amount and it almost instantly gets rid of any dry skin for several days. Absolutely love it!

I read mixed reviews with this product and thought I'd give it a go all the same, as can only try once but, oh my goodness, this toner is fab! I'm sure others who've experienced greasiness from this ...are either putting too much on or simply have a greasy scalp? But for me, is just great. Yes it does drip if you allow it ..the instructions CLEARLY tell you this (not sure why this is classed therefore, a negative) I simply follow the instructions..with my head tilted slightly back, and apply at 3cm widths down the top half of my head(in lines) then tip my head over and repeat. Similar to colouring one's own hair. It's so simple ..and quick. I literally love this..no more itchy scalp and super quick to apply followed by usual hair products. Absolutely 5 stars ..would give 10 if that was an option

A scalp saviour
Since the beginning of the first lockdown my scalp has been all over the place, from itchiness to flakiness it became almost unbearable and sore to the touch. Luckily after some research I came across this Philip Kingsley range and decided to try the tonic, as it seemed to me the most useful product out of the range. I started with buying the travel size, in case this didn't work for me, and since then I have bought two more bottles of the tonic, the shampoo and the mask. My scalp was relieved from the first use, and after a few uses it was completely back to normal. This is a true life saver!

Seriously. Took exactly 2 days to remove my dandruff. I’ve had tried scalp cleaners/ exfoliations, treatments, shampoos... nothing worked, but this one..! Absolutely love it!

Makes a difference but so do cheaper alternatives
Does make a difference, gives the scalp relief from itching for a while and a refreshing zing, but I find cheaper alternatives also do the same.

Refreshing
I used this alongside the Flaky Itchy Scalp Shampoo after having a bad reaction to a hair dye. Within a couple of uses my scalp was back to normal. This product also felt very refreshing on my scalp.
